There was a small restock, it seems they plan to print it at small amounts. It makes sense for them to keep the set alive when some cards are still needed for play.

My understanding for this errata comes from the perspective that they want to be able to physically print set 2 in new languages without selling a set with 1 less emerald card. Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, for example. One of the few situations where they are set up to support an errata. If all languages already had their print runs, i'm sure they would have just banned the card.

If I get Ursula I’m selling for a solid 200 and depending on the playmat may sell that as well. I kept the stitch playmat but this ursula one doesn’t really appeal to me. Would rather get the money foil out the rest of my deck and use the money for a box for next set or groceries/bills.

I like his idea of once per turn. Like when you play a floodborn, exert this charater to make your opponent discard a card from their hand. I think they could have just taken ward off or add more multi card removal to other colors that don't require you to choose.

I think people just see it from the competitive perspective and forgets there´s a casual aspect of the game as well that RB is trying to encourage to try and create a bigger playerbase. Banning bucky only gets him out of the tornaments, but not from leagues and other casual matches and those events are exactly where this deck impacts the worse. Most competitive players already know this kind of games tend to have a meta and you will have to build a deck either meta or built to face the meta, but, as the little newbie who went to a league and got to sit there not being able to play because everyone ran bucky discard well... that´s no fun (i also went to a casual tournament organized by one of the stores and got my ass handed to me by buckys and Ruby Amethyst decks). Now myself being pretty new to lorcana (started with ursulas return on june) but not so new to tcg, just had to step back and actually put some thought not on what characters or deck i wanted to play, but how could i counter that deck that was giving me so many L (RIP my flotsam and jetsam deck). But other people may chose to just not participate. Bucky itself created issues with every single floodborn to be created from now on as well, since a lot of the interactions is "how good this one works with bucky" so yeah, the change was likely needed (they overdid it, but well). PS: i do agree this should not be the path forward since it can create a mess with erratas instead of bans, but for this particular card and stage of the game, i kinda see why they did it.

Just started to enter the lorcana world. I got the two starter pack of the ursula expansion. Thinking of buying the booster box for the next expansion. Any advice for new player?

I sold all my red stuff last weekend 🥲 Also, about the Bucky errata, I absolutely agree. I was thinking the exact same thing. Regardless of how I feel about the card itself, changing its effect is just a bad decision. RIP Brain Control 🫡
