PhotoPass Day at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure took place on August 19, 2018. It was a special day to recognize the creative talents behind the Disney PhotoPass team and was celebrated with rare character meet and greets, special photo props and magic shots.
To me, PhotoPass day was a reminder of my roots and how I got started documenting our Disneyland Adventures. Together with my best friend Jo from @genevievenoodle, we got to Disneyland at rope drop and made it our mission to meet every rare character before 1:00. Like old times, I literally brought 10 different costumes (they only ended up wearing 7!).
We started the day with meeting Smee and Hook right off the bat at 8:30. The longest wait was for Marie-we were waiting outside of Toontown gates a half hour before they opened at 9, but the huge mob of people still created a 1.5 hour wait time. With the help of our friends @adventuresofaudreybelle, we teamed up and met Joy and Sadness over on the DCA side. We spent the remainder of the day in Hollywoodland where we met Dr. Strange and our BFF Loki.
I’m still exhausted and still recovering from the whirlwind day, but it was a fun filled day with some of our best friends. @genevievenoodle, @adventuresofaudreybelle, @lovestalgia, @joie.de.viv, @grateful_girl_mom, thank you for experiencing Photopass day with us!
