Join us as we check in for the weekend at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, a deluxe resort in Walt Disney World Florida. This was our first time staying at this beautiful resort. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay club level in Jambo House. Come along as we explore the resort and all it’s amenities. Thanks for the walk-a-round. We've stayed here and eaten breakfast at Boma a number of times but never got to explore. I didn't know they had an arcade! Also I have never had a zebra dome. I've been meaning to try one buy always forget.

Not much better than Concierge at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.. The smells, the sights, the sounds AND the tastes all give an authentic African feeling that is so luxurious and beautiful. It's Disney.

We had a room over looking safari/ animals. I would think for club level you would of had a better view than you had.

This was a DVC room. There are a very limited number of DVC Club Level rooms. They're on those upper 2 floors of Jambo house on both sides of the building. They are extremely hard to come by and we were very fortunate to get the room we had and we loved it. For us the amenities of club level were more valuable than having a safari view.

The dinner service is more like heavy appetizers. For the kids they had Chicken Nuggets, PB&J, Fruit, and Cheese. Overall the food was fantastic and on another level from the other club level options on property. Thanks for watching!

First, great review! Now, a question: I've always wanted to stay on property when visiting Walt Disney World, but every time we make our thorough plans, I do the cost-benefit analysis, and honestly, I just can't see the value. What am I missing? (that was the question.) When we do go to WDW, we usually tour one or two resorts on our no-park days to see how "the other half" {tongue in cheek} live. Those foot tours give us access to the restaurants, the lounge areas, the views (from the ground)--everything except the rooms and the pools (so, Taylor [forgive me for my spelling if that's not quite right], you make the strongest point yet), although I can't say that I've ever wanted to swim when I'm on vacation). I suppose it would be nice to check the experience off my bucket list, but that won't happen at Disney prices. By the way, it looks like Lucy wants to be a food critic too! Both girls are beautiful--as is the whole family. Thanks for another great video!

Thanks Mark! I agree that the cost to stay on property is high, especially at a deluxe resort. Since I have always been a local, we have not traditionally planned vacations with with lengthy hotel stays. If we did, we would probably have to explore the off property resorts due to price. Since we are local and are in the parks all the time, when we stay on property, we don't go into the parks. We just enjoy the resort amenities and never leave the grounds. I would recommend that if there is a bucket list resort for you, do just that. Maybe check in for the last day or two of your trip and just enjoy the pools and the resort and skip the parks.

Mark Langenkamp - I agree with it's expensive, but for me personally I would rather stay at the All Stars than a brand new Hyatt off property. Bringing food and a cooler can help pad your wallet from the Disney bubble and give you some healthier items/ drinks to enjoy during your stay. But I have to admit, when I've stayed on property, no matter the resort, I have felt like I was a king living INSIDE Walt Disney WORLD. We are not run-run kind of people straight to the Magic Kingdom though, so it could be different for every family and appreciation level. We enjoy coffee and walks, talks, photography, riding through the transportation systems casually, etc.

Cory, big fan of you and your family. Always watch your Live Streams and Vlogs. There is one thing tho that just doesn't sit well with me and I don't understand why you do it. When you are reviewing food, at one point you are chewing food but your voice is reviewing it at the same time and then the video jumps to you actually talking. That irks me every time.
