I called the front desk and they seemed very informative and helpful over the phone. Wyndham Bonnett Creek was all booked up so I booked this for four days in January. It's definitely a smaller property but looks well-maintained and pretty. Will let you know how it goes. Thank you for the great video again👍

Thanks for watching. This being a Disney Vacation Club property, it is going to be great and you get WDW transportation included. That isn't included at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Bonnet Creek is also a great resort and many people prefer it to staying at a Disney World resort hotel.

Thanks for the video! Already gave the thumbs up 😀👍. I’m kind of dissapointed now that I’ve seen your detailed tour. No fast food service at the lobby? That’d be so handy before heading to the parks... Plus, the gift shop is super small and there’s no other attractions besides the savanah for adults. I’m coming over in Feb 2024 and I’m staying with another 5 adults, I think Wilderness Lodge is a better bet if you don’t have any kids in your party, what do you think good friend? Advices are always welcome

Thanks for watching. There may be somre more adult related activities over at the main Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is walkable or they have a shuttle. Though I think you are right. We have stayed at Wilderness Lodge and it may be better for a group of adults.

I agree gas grills are much more desirable at a resort, as someone that flies most places, i don't want to have to buy coal, something to light it with, etc.

Most certainly. I watched a recent video of a resort that had both types of grills. I am never going to use a charcoal grill. I don't know why Disney doesn't install gas grills, well I know why, but it would be better for the membership if they had gas grills.

Emily loved this resort! And you are right you will do a ton of walking! The pools are great there but get there early the chairs get taken up quick!

@@pepepena1937 I don't think I have ever seen DVC resorts available under II getaways. They do sometimes show up on Accommodation Certificates last minute but they tend to require a certain type of AC. The ACs that usually see them are ones that are given as a promo for upgrading II membership and not the free ACs that Interval International just hands out to many members.

I wish I didn't watch this... It makes me miss AKL soooo much! When my daughter was young we'd stay there often. I'd never stayed on the Kidani Village side, though we did visit there. I have a question I hope you can help with. I trade my week for points with II. Because of a family emergency I couldn't make my reservation and had to use my retrade, and it was a flextrade since it was retraded a few days before the check in date. I retraded quickly as my mind wasn't in it and I knew it was only a "hold" until I could book something further out. My question (and I hope I explain this well enough): I know when retrading I lose any points if the new trade is a lower amount than the original one. Are those points completely lost? Now I need to trade 2 more times for the final trade to be for the time I want to travel... Original reservation was 80,000 points. First re-trade 70,000 points. If I keep that trade I lose 10,000. What if the 2nd re-trade is maybe 75,000. does that extra 5,000 points come out of my existing bank or do they take that 5,000 from the 10,000 points I previously lost. I need to know if with that second retrade coming close in points is more important than the date I choose. The date I want for the last retrade is just at the end of the latest flex-time (I made that word up but I'm sure you know what I mean). We are retired so fairly flexible. That is a good question that I really don't know the answer to as I don't have any direct experience with using Eplus with points. I would think they wouldn't take the extra points again and your original points transaction would be the highest you could retrade into without them taking more. As for your issue with the date being just beyond the end of the latest flex-time, if you contact me through Facebook messenger I may be able to provide you with a tip that will allow you to get that last retrade for the date that is just beyond the dates you can confirm into now.
