We did a version of this show and had the **EXACT** costumes. I talked to the director and said they were rented somewhere so that explains that.

If you look away from his costume, this version of Gaston looks more like a modern day douchy prettyboy than a bundle of muscle (he's not so buffed that he has much to flash in front of the village)

I kind of feel like this version of Beauty and the Beast is pretty much underplayed, if not more boringly played than all the other versions that are on RU-vid. The actors are just not very energetic acting-wise.
