Stayed there 5x in a row. It’s a perfect resort for us. Great food options and great pool. Three bridges is one of best spots on property. We always use car which does help with bus concerns.

I enjoy the resort, can't beat it for the price - you can often get it for less $ than value resorts...I prefer the Gran Destino tower because it removes some of the bus issues- BUT a hack was to walk to the main bus stop at Gran Destino so you bypass the internal loop on the way to the parks...not a lot you can do on the way back to skip the loop but at least it will drop you off close to your room somewhere lol...

Not too thrilled with the Resort during my first stay. Now I would happily stay there! Food options are so much improved, rooms are spacious & updated and the options for getting a cocktail are great. Only advice, get a car!!! Thanks for the tour.

I found that even the furthest rooms were not that bad...and a hack was to walk to the main bus stop at Gran Destino so you bypass the internal loop on the way to the parks...not a lot you can do on the way back to skip the loop but at least it will drop you off close to your room somewhere lol...lots of great food and 🍸 for sure! I am doing a separate Gran Destino video coming soon- that is my favorite place to stay there!

I feel like with all the bodies of water within Coronado, they could have had guests travel into EPCOT via water travel. I think some Disneyworld Resorts are open to that kind of transportation. It seems like Coronado would have been one of them.

Wow 180 dollars it’s a very good deal! Last time I checked ( yesterday 😂) for the months of august and october it was more than 300/ night

Whoa! That is kinda high...now, my price was with the annual passholder discount but I wouldn't pick it for 300 a night lol

Dude! You missed all the incredible architecture, art work, and hidden Mickeys at Gran Destino Tower! Definitely Disney, definitely upscale, and definitely gorgeous! Standard rooms in the Tower are the largest Moderate rooms in any WDW resort (even larger than some Deluxe rooms!!). Plus EVERYWHERE there are constant visual reminders that all this was started by a mouse! Hidden Mickeys abound in this resort from the art work, into the carpets, to the lighting fixtures, furniture design, and many, many more locations. Towering paintings provide homage to Walt and Salvador Dali in the very impressive main lobby atrium with 30 ft. floor to ceiling windows looking out over the lake. All within a bougie, more sophisticated, higher-end resort. Our extended 3 generation family stayed at Gran Destino during our last WDW trip and all ages loved it. We would definitely stay there again. On the down side, it is a very large resort spread around an 80-acre lake. If your room is in one of more remote buildings, you WILL be walking a lot to get to the main building. The resort is only a 5 minute drive to Animal Kingdom, 10-12 minutes to Epcot & Hollywood Studios, 15 minutes to Disney Springs, 20 minutes to Magic Kingdom, but less than 5 minutes to Typhoon Lagoon. If the goal of your WDW trip is to spend as much time in Magic Kingdom as possible, then this might not be the best resort for you.

Nope lol didn't miss it! There is so much at Gran Destino that I did it as a whole other stay and video that will be out soon! I love Gran Destino! You can also check out the full video I did of it on my first stay a year ago when I dug into every detail and history there! The video is 1hr and 18 minutes long lol - I even did yet another video on Slavador Dali and Walt and the Destino short film!!

I think the only thing we didn’t really enjoy about that resort was the pool bar. And we love a pool bar! The staff just didn’t not have the great energy.

I thought the step part of that pyramid thing at the pool was the slide. Pretty odd how they did not make the slide on that part. I would have liked to see the slide on the back end of it though.

I film the slide in detail later when I covered my stay at Gran Destino tower, I cut it out here for time purposes...but you can also see it in my Gran Destino tower review from last May!

See, I would think meal times, they should have food available, breakfast from like 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.. One hour transition period. Lunch from 12 to 5 p.m. One hour transition period.6 p.m. to 11 p.m. dinner. Then from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. just snacks. Transition periods have snacks available. But then they do not want to have to keep people on staff at all times because it costs $.

I was shocked really because even the value resorts never stop serving food even during change over times and certainly not a 3hr shut down! and I was HANG-RY lol...i had been up since 6am, this was 9hrs later, I had walked nearly 30k steps and had not eaten LOL...I was STARVING!
