And you know, i believe the reason why this version was deleted was because they not only thought seeing the dead struthiomimus gored open would be too dark for a kids movie, but they also wanted to give a more dramatic entrance to the two carnotaurs that follow the herd and to establish them as dinosaurs to be feared, because they thought just having the herd of Aladar's mother running away at the presence of the carnotaur from the beginning of the movie din't establish the carnotaurs as dinosaurs to be feared enough.
1. I wouldn't call this scene deleted. I would call it altered. 2. Why were the makers of Dinosaur like the makers of Ice Age able to fully animate and delete and altere lots of scenes? Most animated movies aren't like that. Even Lee Unkrich said being the editor of Toy Story 1 that most complete animation is too expensive to cut out of the film. It only happens when there's an occastional need.
You know, in both this deleted version and the final one, the larger carnotaur - the one that survived the cave-in caused by Bruton - is the first of the two carnotaurs that follow the herd to appear.
In Theatrical Version, Velociraptors Eating Done The Bones Of Struthiomimus, And Two Velociraptors Saw Two Carnotaurs And Retreats And Other One Is Retreat As Well And Two Carnotaurs Came Along And He Saw Tracks Of The Herd Is The Next Scene And In Special Edition Version Where Velociraptors Eating Dead Struthiomimus And Two Carnotaurs Came Along And Velociraptor Begin To Run And Carnotaur Eats Struthiomimus And Carnotaur Saws The Background Dunes Is Where The Next Scene.
The Movie?, i wonder how could a movie from Walt Disney Feature Animation now Walt Disney Animation Studio's would give their Movie a PG-13 Rating?, i guess the Parents would still take them to go see it back in the Day because it says Disney in the Title of DINOSAUR.
No offense, but glad that scene was deleted when those Raptors were feasting on that Ornithomimus, because it would've been too dark for children. But this animated movie is still rated PG for kids and family, right?
I respectively disagree, I like what they went with more, since the build up is more suspenseful, having the velociraptors see something we the viewer don’t then running, then see the carnos rising above the hill. It’s more suspenseful, though having the camera angle inside the corpse in this scene was unique in its own way.
"at this point in the movie, the following scene would have occurred, but it was deleted" Nooooooo. Really? Couldn't have guessed it myself that I was watching a deleted scene under the deleted scenes menu.
I think that is better like that. In the movie, when the raptors saw the carnotaurus approaching, they ran away quickly, whereas the carnotaurus had to roar in this deleted scene in order to intimidate them. On the first hand, the carnotaurus can be seen as a dealy threat to all living creatures, while on the other hand, they sure are dangerous and all, but they are not as threatening as they actually are ( in the film ). Sorry for my english if it's not that good. I'm still practicing.
Liberal Jeroen Well yeah but this was an Earlier take on the same scene that was used in the Actual Film so Technically this is Similar to the one from the Theatrical Cut.
TyrannoWright Wait there's a Female?, I thought they were 2 Guys but I guess it would make a bit of sense if there was 1 Guy & 1 Woman Carnotaur together.
@@JohnathonBarker That or it probably gave the Carnotaurs away too easily, so they decided to rework it with the Raptors having their fill until they scampered off when they've noticed something huge was coming, then the two Carnotaurs appeared.
@@JohnathonBarker I kinda agree cause this movie already had abunch a traumatizing moments but hey at least the dinosaurs are more expressive than the animals in that piece of shit Lion King remake
