First Question: did you download the Update with Scar? The Developers fixed the issue with the packs, because you wheren't the only one who didn't recive it. And then 2. For not getting the blue chest opened, look into the game main menü to events, if there you are questioned to connect to the internet do so and then try to open the chest again (step away from the Chest until the connection sign above it dissapears bevore opening the main menü)

If they are offline it wouldn't let the blue chest open. It would also stop them from getting their items. It's an online game.

It’s in EARLY ACCESS, right? Gotta remind some folks of that. Also…the early access bonuses that you pay for will NOT be available to the free players next year. So far, I’m 185+ hours in since release day, got the Ultimate Edition, and (thankfully) all the items/bonuses included. Edit: For personal (inner child) reasons, this game’s lore is so relatable…actually teared up a few times. Stuff that kids won’t get…but adults who’ve gone through some stuff will…😅😢❤

Some of these errors were fixed in the update on the 19th such as the floating things in Remy's store. 55 hours is on the low end from what I've seen. Switch is also the most glitched system from what I've seen. It would be a hard sell for this to be a "released" game. However being early access this is a pretty polished game. In the same breath there are a lot more errors that you got lucky enough to not see. Great video hope you enjoy it more in 1.0.

You have to check your mailbox to claim them. Also a new update came out and lots of people tried to log in at the same time. Meaning you most likely were playing offline. It's not really the games fault

I bought the $50 pack on Switch and got everything right away with no problems, in case anyone was wondering (since they got the $30/$70 versions). Also wanted to point out that in the recent update, they said they’d be rectifying missing founders rewards, idk if that’s happened for anyone. That being said, I’d say the game is definitely worth the $50 I paid for it. The Switch version has been crashing a lot the past few days, but besides that, I’ve really been enjoying it. Already have 150+ hours in

I'm not one to usually complain. If I make a mistake I own up to it. With Factor apparently there are 2 steps to canceling your account. 1. Cancel your account. 2. Cancel your order. Customer service can't do anything.

Sometimes when you click on the chests it will say you are offline, but then you have to just keep clicking the chest and it will "connect you".

I have over 355 hours in dreamlight valley and brought the ultimate Edition. It took a few hours of play to get my ultimate Edition items. The worst thing about the game is the amount of crashes, which gameloft have claimed are trying to fix and have said its very complex. Also donald 🤦‍♀️ omg his hissy fits get so annoying, he was however fixed slightly. Just as many tantrums but for a shorter length of time. But he just never stops 😆. Apart from bugs/glitches it's an amazing game. Im totally hooked.

They're charging for the early access (beta release) of the game only. Next year, when it officially releases, it will be free (but you'll pay for cosmetics, money (that you don't want to play the game to earn), and DLC)! :D

The same thing happened to me with buying the game on the switch if you play on the account that you did not pay for it on it only gives you the base game one but if you play on the account which you did pay for it on it gives you the version you payed for. Hope this helped

I finally caved and deleted my game of 80 hours. Because I had bought it but then time traveled so I couldn’t connect to the Internet or receive the rewards. I really liked the Halloween items though and I’m glad that I reset my game because the perk that I got from buying it in the first week I don’t know if that would’ve lasted if I did this like 200 days from now

The things like "you have to carry x Wood in your inventory" and stuff like that it is... Animal Crossing is just a game, where you can spend millions of hours in. So you do not need efficiency.. You have to walk to your house because you need some Gold or wood? .. then you go to your house... relaxed... and cooooozy.. xD

Did you check your mailbox in the game? For some reason, they send your items through your mailbox at your house. You have to open your mailbox and claim your items. It's a mechanic that is never used again. I got the ultimate edition on switch and got all my items. But they don't tell you that you need to connect to the internet and check your in game mailbox.

I adore this game, I have been playing on my Xbox. PC and Switch and while a lot needs polish it is an early access game with honestly more work and heart in it then a lot of the games I have played recently. The discord is VERY active and GameLoft actually is responding to feedback and suggestions so I have a lot of hope for the game.

I got the ultimate package and got my stuff. But my game constantly crashes and my cloud save doesn't work. Also my game crashed then it wouldn't let me load it with out starting a completely new game where I ended up losing all my extras. And my game still crashes and won't save to the cloud. So I understand the frustrations. But I have to agree that the game itself is super fun. An could be amazing if they can fix all the issues with it.

I was able to collect my rewards, but I was the middle tier. One thing I recommend for quick money is to move all your trees to one location. I made a tree grove and put wall-e's garden next to it, she I can collect the fruit very quickly and sell then come back to recollect without having to run the entire map. Super easy, super quick.

with the connection issue it's due to time travel, the game developers had said they are aware of the problem but they won't be fixing it, basically if you time travel the game doesn't think your connected it's broken

I was having the same issue with my game when I first started. My switch was it synced up with the time because I was time hopping with animal crossing. If your switch isn’t synced up to current date and time he won’t be able to connect to open the chest or save your game. I had to reset the time and then start your game over unfortunately.

To be fair the fishing kind of annoys me because from what I've gathered from playing the game there's only like very little blue and I'm not even going to call him rare I'm going to call him uncommon fish because the white and the blue circles you can get the same fish from them almost like there's a lot of blue circles where I get white circled fish which is like common... Now ask for red That's really the only significant one that gives you a rare type fish... However in fishing there is a fish you can get on the beach that you can only catch at night which is the kingfish there is also another fish which is called the fugu fish and you can only catch it during rain if you guys didn't know I don't know how true it is but I've tested it myself and I've watched videos of people testing it and apparently if you have more than one villager is a level 10 and gardening they kind of slightly stack on top of each other and it makes it to where your profits for your farming veggies is increased

Being connected to the internet doesn't mean that your console is simply connected. You have to go into the settings on the title screen and sync up your disney account to be able to have the online connectivity.

My switch crashes like 30 times a day but I’ve also put in 150 hours so far. I just save a lot, it’s that good. The update helped other stuff for sure, just not my crashing. Hard resets help but only for so long.

just wanted to add my two cents because i have maybe like 150-200 hours in the game for both pc and switch. i think the new scar update makes it 100% worth it! you can either pay $30 to play on switch (and you get the founder's pack), or you can save the money and get game pass for the pc (which i think is on promo for $1, regularly $10 monthly) and then you can download the game. i think even after your month is up, you can still open dreamlight valley without game pass since its free to play. it's much less buggy on pc, BUT the new scar update fixed a lot of crashes on the switch. also, you can get companions in the game for free and loads of clothes, so unless you really want something in the expensive packs, you don't really need it and none of these packs are holding plot content or unlockable characters. anyway, i LOVE the game, i stream it on twitch under mimif1rst lmao, and i think for anyone who likes farming simulators and disney characters (niche ones like wall-e and remy included), it's super fun and i would absolutely recommend

I really don't understand what people don't understand about a EARLY ACCESS game. Yes you paid money just like we all did, they informed us you could play it now if you payed, knowing it would become free next year. There has been like one update since its release and they are working out the bugs in the game. Everyone complaining about the bugs, not getting your items, posting videos like this, KEEP reporting the bugs and they will fix them. I don't understand why there's people already leaving bad reviews for a game mentioning the bugs when you knew what you were getting into when you bought this game. Yes I've experienced my fair share of bugs too, and I have reported them so they are able to resolve them.

I enjoy the game, I mainly play on my Xbox through gamepass...however I did buy the deluxe edition on the switch and my mom got the ultimate edition...I got my items and she didn't get hers right away either, but did 2 days later. I've had more quest issues than anything but my mom keeps having her switch crash almost every 5-10mins...getting better now....took two updates for me to pick up a lightbulb on WALL-E's floor...and an Elsa quest was in my bag but the quest wouldn't update...I do enjoy the game though, with we had more peeps but eventually it will

hiii it sounds like you have kinda the problem that I had in the beginning. it might have to do with your clock/date settings. You need to have the synchro on, like the actual box ticked and not just have the right time set. After that I could open the blue chests and cloud save. you just have to be careful with when your game was played on cause it might cause your plants and materials to bug out and not be interactable until you reach the same point of time again if you are in the future. this is what fixed the game from a friend too

Sad... Without the Internet Kim is missing all the events with special itens too, now is the halloween event and last month was a pixar event...I started playing in Switch, but my game crashed so badly that I had to start another save in PC game pass... I dont no if got better, but I dont recomend this game in the switch, edit the world was a pain and was crashing every hour

Tbh I would not want quests in animal crossing because I enjoy that game because it dosent have like a clear direction, plus I like the little occasional ones from the special characters so I can only do them sometimes. I'd be sad if you had to do them to progress cuz I just wanna decorate my Island man
