Dear Trackers. Our beloved 16 yr old puppy went to Heaven a few days ago and we loved taking her to the Fort cabins. We weren’t sure if we could watch this video, but we did and it brought us great joy and comfort. Thank you. Truly.

I’m laughing at Jackson booking a vacation on his own. Just a warning my friends 12 year old “borrowed” their credit card and booked a beach house for a week. They didn’t realize for a while and got a call about it. I can see Jackson figuring that out.

They got rid of the train for two reasons. 1. It actually hit a few guests,and 2. The cast members kept forgetting to refill the water for the steam engine, so guests kept getting stuck.
Oh we just toured a house for sale in a, kind of, country setting. Where all the parents drive their kids down the long neighborhood street, in a golf cart, to the bus stop each day! I was tempted to buy the house just for that reason!
Grand Floridian Cafe is “my secret” favorite restaurant at Disney. Their brunch is also GREAT! The prices are as reasonable as it gets on Disney property, pretty easy to get a reservation, never CRAZY busy, and the cast members are so unbelievably kind and patient! Some of my favorite mornings at Disney have been there! Gotta try dinner next time!
Next time you do your cresent dogs try slicing a pocket into the hot dog and stuff it with cheese, then wrap like you did. I've been making them that way over 50 years.
Came to the comments to see if anyone else caught the brilliance of Jackson naming Oogie Boogie’s brother and apparently the answer is just me. I have spent too much time around kids. Luca Boogie! (Look, A Boogie!) is just genius! 😂
I do enjoy hanging out with you guys. I laughed a few times. Your faces & comments on the dessert was priceless. Tim most bizarre cookie. Don't think I'd get that again. Jen needs more frosting 😂. Jackson I want a convertible Lamborghini😂. My daughter & her friend did the tents. She loved it.
I would Love for you to go Into Trails End one day. We used to go before covid and it was a BBQ buffet. It was the best buffet ive had at disney (i've only been to character dinners..) But it makes me sad that your experience has been mid.

We stayed there in the 70s when it was new. We had a Winnebago and there were 3 of us in our teens, old enough to roam at the park on our own . I remember armadillos everywhere when we rode the tram. Thanks for sharing 🌝
When I make pigs in a blanket, I cut a line down the hot dogs and put some cheese in there! So good! I have only been to Disney twice and both times I stayed in the cabins. Loved the space and the peaceful surroundings!
Jen I went to the senses spa in Grand Floridian and it’s amazing!! You really need to check it out! It’s a must do everytime we vacation in Orlando! 👍🏻👍🏻

I'm with you, Jenn! We were there over Thanksgiving and I think that new DVC tower is awful! It's just a big cement block. I don't think any amount of theming is going to cover the fact that it looks nothing like the rest of the Polynesian.
My, now 18 yr old , grandson loved it so much when he was little. We rode bikes around the fort and he always declared it was the bet time he ever had. Ride your bikes around. Kids love it I did too
Is Smore rental able to drop your cart off at Fort Wilderness for you? Some companies have you meet off property and drive it in and I would prefer to have it dropped off.
I always find it funny what Floridians think is chilly. The thermostat is set at 68 degrees and it's cold for you when in our house we have it set to 68 or 69 all day and 65 at night (we live in Iowa for context). I really love the fort wilderness stay vlogs. Living on the Mississippi river we used to go camping on the river during the summer months and those memories are ones that have always stuck with me. Another memory is my dad, brothers, and I "camping" in our back yard. That is something you can do with Jackson since he said he wants to sleep in a tent.
You guys should check out Yogi Bears Camp Jellystone. They're a day trip away but you might find local rental rv's, or rent a cabin. The kids activities are great let alone the water parks....
I first went to fort wilderness in the summer of 1979 after graduating high school! I can vaguely remember the train running back then! I don’t remember if I rode it or not. 😮
I grew up in Colorado for Christmas, so that property reminds me of the mountains. Staying there for Christmas would be very nice. Now, all we need is some snow 😂👍❄️🎄
If I had the money, I would stay for a few weeks!! And that antenna that was at that one campsite is SpaceX's Starlink for high speed internet or streaming service. All those Starlink launches you hear and see go off at Cape Canaveral....its for that. It's a bit pricey but from what I've heard its pretty good. Definitely look into that!!
I wasn't crazy about the pictures of the replacement cabins for DVC. I'm hoping that all the bear lamps and pictures and log cabin "feels", aren't pulled out of the rooms to give it a generic vibe like you're seeing on property in some areas...

We have a golf cart to cruise our property and garden work ( we have 4×4 also ) and in the summer I take daily cruise with my toddler every day. It's he's favorite thing to do. Golf cart is our favorite farm equipment
We defo got ripped off at Denny’s. My husband got eggs over my hammy. I shared with my son the breakfast that come with pancakes. A water a coffee and an orange juice and it was $60
Awww I hope i can stay in the cabins again before they change. I wish they weren’t doing that either. Jenn I do the same thing whenever we’re there, I check to see who’s in our old sites lol. I had that chicken biscuit thing and I loved it I got it for breakfast both days lol! I’ll probably get it again at least once next time again. Maybe we will be there the same time…. Right before Christmas! Also wish I could have used the golf cart you guys did but they aren’t working on the day we would need to return it😩
We booked a cabin at Fort Wilderness for my 5 year old daughter's first Disney trip. We showed her you videos and she said oh yeah I want to go there. Any their hit tips we go Jan 23rd.
Thank you Tim ❤😊. We are staying there in February. Where do you go to complain about taking away the Rustic cabins and putting up modern ugly😮 sheds!!😢 they do not belong there!!! Neither does that modern hotel between Polynesian and the Grand Floridian 😢
Did you happen to film this on or around the 10th of November? I saw you and your family at the playground outside of trails end, but didn’t want to bother your family time.
I have seen the videos of the the newly designed cabins, and I can see how some people might like those better. But these rustic older cabins sure have their fans too. So, I think Disney should leave some of the old ones intact for those who prefer this wood cabin look.
Jen - cut you cupcake in half and turn the top upside down and smoosh them together to make a sandwich with the frosting on the inside. This way every bite has frosting!
My happiest memories of staying in the cabin was of my dad cooking what he called a “wilderness breakfast. He’d cook pancakes and ham steaks, bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy. It was amazing. We ate on it all week. Lol They sell long sleeved cloths because most of the park visitors aren’t from the Orlando area. Some of us travel pretty far to get there.
Are the bus stops for the parks close to the cabins? We stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort last time and were looking at Fort Wilderness. Just wondering if we’ll need to add a golf cart 😅
Maybe next time, You can get the pillsbury Crescent Rolls and You can put the hot dog in the Slice and put the cheese in and Roll it up and you can Wash them with the Egg wash and sprinkle With Salt If you Want.
