From Season 16 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 21: Nature's Strangest Oddballs which originally aired on March 22nd, 1970. Professor Ludwig Von Drake looks at animals who have not changed greatly over the years, such as the platypus, iguana, koala, and anteater. The story of The Cold-Blooded Penguin (Pablo) and The Flying Gauchito from The Three Caballeros and Goliath II are also shown. These have been edited out due to copyright.

Always loved Ludwig - some of the funniest stuff ever written for Disney animation. Paul Frees performance is impeccable and the animation is frequently top notch. No slight to the character, but he seems to owe a bit to Sid Caesar's vagabond "Professor" bit - both are worth remembering (and maybe a dash of Victor Borge?). And of course, can't forget Herman. ❤Wish they would restore and re-present these in all their glory. Thanks for posting them.

Huge thanks to you for posting this 🔥🔥🔥 each episode is trully a gem, but this one especially ! The exclusive animated scenes of Pablo Penguin and Goliath II, if they are short, are really enjoyable and very rare ❤️ What a shame that Disney didn't remastered it !

Even with the necessary editing out, I enjoyed the cartoon. I'm 67, and I still laugh at Ludwig Von Drake!

I found it! I remember watching (probably on the Disney channel) a program presented by Ludwig von drake and the bit that stood out was him writing a long sentence on a blackboard which ended with ‘your body’ and it’s here at 20:10

I use to watch my copy of this episode all the time at Christmas time as a little kid. Why Christmas time, I’ll never know.

They also left out how sea horses make babies, whether it be the father actually getting pregnant or just store the eggs in the poach.

@@waltsvaultofficial I’m uploading as many episodes as I can while keeping in line with copyright rules and my own rule of not uploading content that has seen an official DVD or streaming release (with a few exceptions…Mathmagic Land for one). I plan to continue through Season 25. I hope you are enjoying the programming!

@@rudymalone1 I choose not to upload complete episodes that have content that is available on dvd or a streaming service. Please purchase those from third parties or Disney direct. That’s what I do. Everything I edit out I personally own on disc or subscribe to a streaming service to see.

It’s a pity that the cartoons have to be edited out for copyright. Von Drake’s narration (assuming they did replace Holloway’s narration with Paul Frees’ Von Drake voice) would have surely added a lot to them.

I’m sorry, I do not….you could download this and splice in the shorts and make your own personal copy…or just hit pause and pop in the dvd that has this clips (The Three Caballeros and Goliath II….pretty sure the latter was released on the Rare Classics Walt Disney treasures tin).

I can't upload it here..RU-vid blocked the content. You can easily find the the segments from The Three Cabelleros and Goliath II. Just pause the video, watch those clips, then resume afterwards. Best I can do! Sorry...
