Isn't there less expensive rooms? I can't imagine paying $400 a night and no jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! I'd like inside not door facing to the outside and I'm also scoping it out for a possibility of a wedding 💒? 🤣 Where's the surrey's?

I agree! Both Riverside and French Quarter are beautiful. I think I like French Quarter a tiny bit more, but it’s close lol. The boat ride to Disney Springs is very relaxing too!

I was at the French Quarter in September of 2019. It's an incredibly compact place, and well themed. It's basically a romanticized view of the New Orleans French Quarter. Jazz music was playing from hidden speakers onto the streets 24/7. The pool was sweet, there's an alligator themed slide (I think it's an alligator), with Poseidon on top. (Idk, it's something referencing the Mardi Gras parades). I think you can get to the bus stop anywhere between one minute to five or ten minutes depending on where you stay on the resort (It's that small). My room was a literal minute away from the bus stop, it was fantastic. As far as crowds, it was pretty average for pre-pandemic Disney. I also went during an off season month. The food...if you like spicy cajun flavored food and southern comfort food, you'll love it. Me? I didn't like it quite so much. It was all very heavy and I always wanted something light to eat. The boat ride to Disney Springs was pretty neat though. All in all, it was a good experience. But if I ever go back to Disney, I'll be staying at Coronado Springs or - hopefully, the Caribbean Beach resort. Prices there went up when the skyliner was put in, so I don't know if I'll ever be able to afford it. Perhaps in the off season, who knows.
