yea but even teachers fall under a charming student's spell. TJ at least realized it was important to put in effort sometimes.

That is part of the dumbing down of the education system my friend. They intentionally lower the passing grades in many schools because they want the schools to look better & receive more compensation from their region's education board.

Education is a joke anymore. By God's grace, I learned more about science, geography, archaeology, philosophy, history and theology from my own pursuit and research than ANYTHING I was exposed to at school, be it public school or at college. Heck, just reading on my own time taught me more about words and spelling than any English course managed to do. As far as I'm concerned, most of school is just pointless busy work. I don't feel well-rounded from Algebra, nor do I feel sophisticated or more cultured from reading Hamlet or Flowers For Algernon. Honestly, I'd rather forget Algernon altogether...

@@Goabnb94I always thought the permanent record was just your record. You know tardies, absents, incidents, vaccinations, allergies, all that junk. Although cartoons and even school officials call it permanent to make it sound more threatening the kids so they will behave. And exaggerate how it will follow you to adulthood. Even if it did, you job won’t care what you school record is.

Gordy more so than Gretchen. Gordy didn't like him for no reason, but Gretchen had a reason for being unhappy with him. She felt like she was being slighted because she kept getting in trouble, while he got away with doing the same thing. *But I'm glad he made it up to her 😊. He can be a good friend.
