It didn't occurred to anyone that this might look stupid. Also, there is a scene with a fire in space where there is no atmosphere. That should be all the explanation you needed about the quality of the writing.

@@ZeroB4NG to be honest I dont disagree with you mate. :D I recently rewatched The Expanse and coming off fresh of that show into this fuckin' mess is really painful. Not only they did paid attention to the tiniest details ( like no atmosphere = no fire ) but when they did had a fire in a zero G environment, it was a blob and didn't look like a campfire. ( no gravity ) The attention to the tiny details can elevate a good show to outstanding level and at least would put some topping on this turd lol.

@@Wade_Tyler From my understanding, it is also incredibly consistent, not only with the movies, but also within itself and the rest of the EU. That's more than can be said for most other SW media. Imagine a Samurai Jack style cartoon following a lone Jedi or maybe Darth Bane. Possibilities are endless.

@@Wade_Tyler TCW added a bunch of unnecessary things that played with the movies a bit too much. In particular, the extra duels or the Grievous problem. Then you have the laundry list of EU retcons. Captain Fordo explained things quite well. Too bad we never got a Darth Zannah trilogy.
The only good star wars that's been released recently is the fan made stuff but even that's been running low since the fan base continues to bleed out profusely.

HOLY HELL, THAT WAS AWFUL! The set design, character mannerisms, personalities, dialogue ("I needed the paycheck"), music. Everything about the two part premiere was terrible. I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but fuck me, this was depressing. Well, like I said, this is all I'm able to take. You guys can tell me how the rest of it goes, but I'm staying behind enemy lines. I also watched more of season 2 of Attack on Titan and that felt more like Star Wars compared to Acoshite. I'm also re-watching Cardcaptor Sakura, and that also feels more like Star Wars. That's all I have to say about this abomination for now. I need to take a fresh dip in a bacta tank to heal my brain cells from this crap. Edit: I just remembered another thing: Why didn't Mae take the lightsaber after defeating Trinity? You'd think she would've wanted a fine addition to her collection.
