He literally thought the dark side had chosen him that day! He was fully prepped to leave his family behind and live the life of a stormtrooper. They literally just picked him out of the crowd. He did great!
@@guardianexe_30 these troopers could be members of the 501st if they have different costumes the ones in this parade are owned by Disney and they cant wear them outside the park. The 501st has made appearances though during the star wars weekend parade there are a few videos of the Florida garrison taking over the park for example ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e656K2Qj4T4.html . notice the flag's at the front of the marching troopers if they have those at every parade event and charity event they go to, since there are no flags here not to mention other trooper class's (TIE Pilots, Scouts, Death troopers, Snow troopers, Storm troopers, Imperial Officers ect) the first order troopers here are all hired by Disney to march though as seen they are still bad guys doing good deeds. As a member of the New England garrison I spent most of my time at charity events or hospitals as either a pilot or Imperial Stormtrooper. Course there was the one time I pulled a prank at spencers gifts while wearing stormtrooper armor and put a for sale sign on and waited for people to walk by before asking for their identification LOL ;) :p talk about making someone jump out of their skin
To us we see it as cute. To a child like him though it’s an entirely different perspective and surreal. It’s really cool to see how immersive they make Disney parks to all people.
It worked for our kid! All we did is ask a park attendant where the best place to stand was for the show so the kids could see. She told us where to stand and the rest was history. We were only 30 minutes early for the show when we asked. It is what makes Disney such a cool experience. They pay attention to EVERY detail.
@@1CentSportsCards they saw your child dressed as a storm trooper. I bet the cast member already gave the word for your child to be picked. Seeing he was a fan.
That's one thing I love about Disney. Their actors are always so friendly and willing to interact with the kids. It makes the whole experience really worth while for them. Something they'll always remember.
He told this story all school year I bet. “There I was marching among my brothers under command of the great captain Phasma. With women screaming “oh” to their God.
I literally cried when I saw this. I’ve seen this march in person and it is truly amazing to watch, but to see the actors do this and include this young boy and to see other people and children sharing in probably this child’s happiest experience so far is truly amazing. Good for you little guy. THERE’S NO ORDER WITHOUT THE FIRST ORDER!!! Oh and yes, I’m EXTREMELY JEALOUS!!!
This is why in 20 years, the sequels will be viewed with a nostalgic glow and they will be deemed masterpieces by those who grew up with them. You didn't think when they came out, any adult actually enjoyed the prequels, did you? Now look at the love they get.
Disney is all about making dreams come true, and that’s what we all witnessed when the Stormtroopers invited your son to join them on Captain Phasma’s March, cherish that memory with you always
I'm 41 years old and am so envious of a 5 year old. That experience with the Storm Troopers will never leave him. So awesome of them to invite him to march along with them.
That moment when you realize that working for the Empire involves basically a lot of simply marching (but very cute video in any case, I'm sure the kid was pumped!).
When I went to Disney last March something similar happened! I happened to catch the stormtroopers marching through, and there was a little kid in a full stormtrooper outfit tagging along behind them!
i remember and still have photos of being 6 years old in the tim burton batman version costume at the WB Movie World QLD Australia, and being kidnapped by Poison Ivy, them battling it out, and then batman rescuing me and driving me out of the park to meet my mum in the bat mobile
Mate, that was some good ass drill, I know from experience that it is a more difficult to keep right for amateurs, best thing to come out of the Sequel movies imo
It’s expensive AF but this is why we love Disneyland. The cast members are so awesome, and it’s rare, if at all, to see any of them not be nice or let kids share in moments like this.
This is the best part of working with costums, when you interact with kids and invite them into their fantasy world, the joy on their faces is so rewarding. 👌🏿
This moment is precious. I pray that his parents and teachers help him explore and be creative his entire life. Whose cutting these damn onions in front of me, there is water in my eyes right now.
I was very surprised to see when one of the stormtroopers had pointed the boy out. It's like he said "There's the new recruit. Come and march with us." It had taken my breath away.
This little guy must've had a great time with the stormtroopers. I was very surprised to see that he stood behind one while the other one made sure he was in line, since there were 2 lines of them in single file. Great job. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
