The village is going to look so much better once they finish that new paving - the old coloured concrete looks very outdated in comparison. Hopefully they'll introduce a bit more colour and fun as they do the shop frontages too, looks pretty tired and drab especially in the winter season.
The weather of northern France & the classic city that's 43 km (27 miles) west of Disney Village make it seem somehow extraneous or unnecessary. The Universal park that will be built outside of London will probably be climate-controlled the way that at least one theme park in Dubai is.
The village is pretty necessary for places to eat, as not many of the restaurants in the parks are open later for dinner - so the Village and Hotels add a lot of that dining capacity. Considering a lot of guests will visit Paris separately from their time at the resort, they probably don't want to drag the kids for 45mins by train into the city just for a meal.
TRUE but they are outside of Security and with all my equipment on a Mobility Scooter it just didn't make sense to head out of the Security Zone only to go through it all to get back in. :)
