Yzma is my fav I think. Gothel has a higher skill ceiling but probably the best designed in the game. Scar can be tough but he’s a ton of fun. Evil queen is a ton of fun
I played Villainous once and was underwhelmed. It didn't stop me from buying the Marvel version though! Now it just sits there on my shelf of shame, threatening to snap half my games out of existence.
My top 10 10. Cruella (love collecting puppies. Still havent win with her but is always a blast) 9. Malleficent (the simplest and easiest but still complex enough to be a challenge) 8. Yzma (as you said chaotic. Love the hide and seek mechanic) 7. Ratigan (always a blast to set for the robot queen while simultaneously prepare to vanquish Basil) 6. Pit ( I love everything about his play style and his deck) 5. Jafar( my first villain pick when I bought the game and still one of the best) 4. Evil Queen( so unique and different. I can understand why people love her. I can't argue.) 3. Hook (I LOVE HOOK PLAYSTYLE SO MUCH) 2. HADES (I don't care what anyone says... Hades is awesome. Yes he has a slow play style but he is so satisfied to win as him. My favorite moment was winning a six man villainous game as him. So good.) 1. Dr Fecillier (My main man. He is so good. And he is random chance of winning with his extra deck make him so interested and fun. I never get bored with him.) I haven't play the newest expansion but since it has syndrome I will buy it for sure. Great ranking. I will subscribe for sure. Can't wait for your future content!!!
A potential future top 10👀 You gotta look Pixar now that they’ve expanded. Randall Boggs, Chick Hicks, Zurg, and Sid could be great. Hans and Shere Khan seem like the only popular Disney villains left. It’s dope seeing them do Star Wars though
What about Oogie Boogie from a Nightmare Before Christmas!! Or Te Ka from my favorite Disney cartoon, Moana. Mayor Bellwether from Zootopia! Those are my picks for the next set ;) - Daniel
I like to play Syndrome but there is one thing that makes me RAGE in like 1/3 games I play with him. Can you guess what it is? THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED A lot of the time on the turn right before I would activate the remote to win, I get fated. Not only does that card make me go through my entire deck again to get the remote, but it also kills every single ally I have out so it's easier to get overwhelmed by heroes. Before you say to play the remote and activate it on the same turn, typically the omnidroid v10 will be at downtown metroville, covering up the play a card action you have there, and leaving behind only a gain 3 power and fate. It'd be much more fair imo if it put the remote into your deck, 5th from the top instead of discarding it. I say 5th from the top because if it was 4th someone could discard their hand and you would play not a sidekick to draw it right away. So it still takes 1 or 2 turns to get to, but doesn't completely ruin the game for Syndrome. Edit: Another solution, since Syndrome's lair is his most useless location that I rarely move to, is to replace his vanquish action there with an activate action, so he doesn't (usually) have to be at downtown metroville to win. This makes it possible to play the remote and activate it to win on the same turn to avoid that one fate card.
Yeah it can be tough to avoid that. Part of what I love in Villainous is downplaying your threat level and raising others if you play 3. Or planning for a big turn to win.
Y is my boi Hades always at the bottom of everyone else’s ranking :( . I find if you really use the mortality potions as often as possible you can really mess ppl up. ( if you don’t get them yah its a little hard) still my fav tho
@@tabletalk4729 you can fate her 1 to 2x per turn and still win. while a lot of the villains got set back 3 to 5 turns to recover from a single fate card.
