I am in the Slytherin RavenClaw and HufflePuff house with my least and favorite Disney characters Scar Evil Queen Yzma Cruella Captain Hook Mr S Jafar and Maleficent !
Nah I think he is in Ravenclaw because he sent half of his army to fight the “good” side and the other half to go with him to take over empire. And also if it was not for Mulan the army would think he was dead. He is a intelligent villain. 😆
I see him as a Gryffindor too. I mean, he takes the Great Wall as a dare to try and cross it. That's a Gryffindor move. And he certainly seems to fear nothing - or at least wants to fear nothing.
Well Hufflepuffs got a villain at last. I can't say i am Heartbroken because i lost loads of my friends after telling them i'm a Slytherin girl :( Who else was in my situation? please tell me.
I agree with the whole list except for Maleficent. What happened (going by 1959's Sleeping Beauty) isn't a matter of heartbreak. It's a matter of spite. She was very intelligent and articulate yet straightforward in the way she had her plans carried out. She's a Ravenclaw hands down.
The only one I disagree with is Maleficent being in Hufflepuff. She's very smart. Definitely a Ravenclaw. The others are fairly accurate. I love the idea of Hades being in Ravenclaw.
Shan yu is a typical Griff!! How could you not see that. He was daring enough to go on war with the great chinese empire, and look at those muscles ... Do you read cunning in those or daring ?
I'm a Slytherin myself, but I would have placed Cruella in Ravenclaw. She's an artist and has all the traits to be an artist: creativity, intellect, and wit.... she just got a little carried away XD
Shan Yu actually should be on the evil side of a Gryffindor because he's fearless and daring and my reason because he was obsessed of the war that sounds very Gryffindor to me.
Two things what decides your house is what prioritize so by that factor all of these villains would be Slytherin because they prioritize themselves. Now if it is solely based on personality there are a few changes needed. Shan Yu is a total Gryffindor. And Evil queen while very smart is also very very cunning, so she is much more of a Slytherin.
Gaston is not a Gryffindor. He’s ambitious, cunning, and he’ll do everything possible, no matter what, to get what he wants. He literally did EVERYTHING to marry Belle, in a point to try to kidnap her father, kill the beast, and even hurt Belle herself so she can marry him. He’s so ambitious. Why can’t we simply try to see things like this: most villains are Slytherins not because they’re evil, but because they’re resourceful, ambitious, cunning, and can do whatever is possible to reach their goals. Mother Gothel manipulated Rapunzel for 18 years, she’s a completely manipulative person and will do everything that is best for HER and only for HER, just like Gaston. Frollo said that Esmeralda would either marry him or burn. He didn’t care about her, he cared about him and him. He did everything as possible to find her: he’s not going to leave his mission until it’s completed. You’re not going to accept me? Oh, so i’ll burn you. Most villains elaborate plans for years, have the most crazy ideas, manipulate people, like Hades and Scar. They have all the perfect mindset for Slytherins. As i said, they’re not Slytherins because they’re evil, but because they simply have the perfect mindset for the house. When you ask the question “which house would this villain be?” My first question is probably going to be Slytherin. IMO, it doesn’t really makes sense Gaston being a Gryffindor, because he used all the traits you mentioned in the video to get Belle, which just shows how ambitious he truly is
I don't understand how Shan Yu is a Slytherin, he's a strong warrior and don't do sophisticated evil plan ton conquer China, HE SEND A MESSAGE to the emperor to warn him about his arrival so he can prepare his army. He didn't says anything about the fact that Mulan was a woman and treated her like a warrior on the last battle. No, Shan Yu is definitely a Gryffindor.
Maleficent a Hufflepuff? You are really joking She's more Ravenclaw than Slytherin She gets frustrated by incompetent followers just like Hades and has no patience for shot mind fools. She's a Ravenclaw! She is very intelligent and plans things very well and she always brings out to be the cleverest person in the room.
I was disappointed when I found out I’m a Hufflepuff because I wanted to be a Slytherin like my parents, Hades and Maleficent, but turns out they weren’t either, and looks like I take after my mother lol
Mother Gothel was an incredibly disturbing villain. Her motivations were simple and not evil. All she craved was self-preservation, but not for ambitious purposes. That being said, the means in which she achieved these goals are the disturbing aspect. Kidnapping, neglect, and overall emotional abuse are just a few of her crimes. Her ability to understand human emotions, and not to mention her problematic but honest compassion towards Rapunzel, indicates that she would most likely be sorted into Hufflepuff. And for the people who think Mother Gothel is a Slytherin because of her being manipulative but she really belongs of a dark side of a Hufflepuff don't get me wrong and if you disagree please don't be mad I showed you my reasons. She could be a hatstall between Hufflepuff or Slytherin!
Get one thing about my house Most evil people come from Slytherin but not all Slytherin are evil Also I had crossed my fingers hoping Scar and Shan-yu would be apart of us
For the most part I agree with this list, but the Maleficent one doesn't seem right. So I know it was based on what happened in her film (epic film btw!) but if we look at the original story and Sleeping Beauty film her motivations are a bit different. So here's why her not being invited to the Christening angered her: Maleficent is amongst the high society ranks in the realm of fairies. Now depending on some versions she is simply forgotten (and in one version believed to have died) and that angers her. But in other versions she's either been a queen or at least considered a noble of some sort (it's never explicitly stated, again depends on the version). Anyway regardless a royal birth is a huge deal, so royalty and nobility from all over would be invited. For Maleficent to be snubbed would've been considered the highest of insults even though she was evil in her origins. So that's kinda why I'd say she's more of a Slytherin. Most Slytherins are pureblood and high society elites and would be insulted too. But I have seen arguments for her being a Ravenclaw and I can agree with that as well. Sorry for the long comment
Yzma is a Slytherin. She is supposed to be the cunning power-hungry sidekick who wants to take over and rule the empire. She’s not witty, or clever; she’s cunning. Same with Mother Gothel.
I disagre about Shan Yu - he is not manipulative, but very straight forward. And he is not scared to fight chiniese soldiers face to face. He was first to charge at Mulan and her froends.
Maleficent is a Gryffindor or Slytherin, brave enough or ambitios enough to take over a kingdom. and Slytherins get offended if they werent invited to something. lucius? umbi-umbridge?
Im a ravenclaw and i think captain hook (my favourite) could be in Gryffindor and the evil queen in slytherin but i must say is no one gonna talk about what hogwarts school life (not to mention your house) will be with these guys?
I agree with the majority of this and by that I mean all but one of the Disney villains and by that I mean the last one Maleficent is the Mistress of Evil and she was only pretending to be offended when she wasn’t invited to the christening (it’s called sarcasm) so she is definitely not a Hufflepuff Maleficent decided on a very original and creative way to torment the kingdom by cursing the princess that way She is very witty with what she says especially in her first scene 16 years later she exploded in rage over her goons lack of intelligence She then concocted another plan to torment the girl by abducting her true love and only releasing when he was only minutes away from death For these reasons Maleficent belongs in Ravenclaw
