Actually that's not far off. I justed watched a bunch off side by side comparrsions with this new Disney plus version and the fan edits. Feels like they applied some kind of snapchat filter or something.
@@pferreira1983 Lucas made that change, not Disney. They were making a 4K version but it wasn't released for unknown reasons, they've also saturated it, not desaturated, it's the first version where Luke's lightsaber actually has colour. I actually really love how the Disney versions look, best looking films I've seen in a while, especially ESB.
@@VinVonVoom Really??? The scene with the holograph characters on the game board have a complete lack of colour on the 4K version. By the way EBS and ROTJ also have other issues so I wouldn't go crazy for those 4K versions either.
Harmy definitely has superior shading here, Disney’s blacks look washed out. Also, I can’t ever watch this scene without always noticing how much performing with Peter Cushing affected Carrie Fisher’s acting, and accent, I’m guessing she was a little star struck at the time.
