How did y'all transport Nana's scooter? 🤔🤔 I will be taking my first DCL trip on the TREASURE on May 17th. We are doing the Western Caribbean and I use a motorized scooter.
That’s exciting, we plan on doing the Treasure also either in March or we’ll have to wait until July. But to answer your question, she rode her scooter to the Bahamas port and when we were ready to go to the Queen Staircase we parked her scooter at one of the local gift shops and took a taxi over for the quick trip. She can walk a short distance so we were without it for a little bit. The local gift shop workers and Taxi drivers all know each other and they helped us get that organized. They were extremely friendly but I still advise you to take your key and valuables with you. But if you don’t feel safe or comfortable to leave your scooter there are still plenty of other taxi options that are wheelchair accessible. Also just some advice, Nana’s scooter died as soon as we got back to the ship. We found out you can have a crew member come pick up your battery every night to charge it and bring it back whenever you need it. It’s very convenient! I hope you and your family have a GREAT time.
