Disney Wish Very Merrytime Cruise! | Embarkation Day Was Cut Short But We Made The Most Of It!

In today's vlog we embark on our Disney Wish Very Merrytime Cruise! Our day was cut short due to the hurricane but we made the most of it! We stayed in a concierge deluxe family verandah suite. We give you a tour of the room and the concierge lounge. We had dinner at Worlds of Marvel and tried new foods on the menu, it was pretty good! Then we have some treats in the lounge before watching the Holiday Tree lighting ceremony with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto! We end the night by checking out some of the merch in Mickey's Mainsail before heading to bed. It wasn't the best way to start a cruise but we had a great night anyway! As an adult with autism, I just have to tell you guys, these kinds of videos mean so much to me. Disney has a very special place in my heart and I've been planning to go on a Disney Cruise with my sister and her family for years now and going on any big trip is really intimidating for me. But being able to see the types of rooms available and the food served in the restaurants and the whole process of getting on and off the ships, it helps me know what to be prepared for and takes away the majority of the anxiety

I agree one hundred percent! Being on the spectrum knowing what to take to the parks to help me be more comfortable is extremely helpful. Bring noise cancelling headphones with you in case it gets too loud I found helpful during parades and fireworks last time I went.

I am an adult with autism too and I agree; I am always watching youtube videos to help me feel comfortable to try new things. I just want to share with you that Disney Cruise Line has been so wonderful (especially with ASD accommodations) that I chose it as my wedding venue! I hope you get to go on your cruise because I know you will have a great time.

That silent dance party is such a great idea. I hope you guys can acknowledge in future videos of this cruise how incredible the cruise staff was to be able to deal with the hurricane delay, the sudden shift to Christmas decorations, dealing with new procedures on a ship that hasn't had the Christmas cruise before, room turnaround in what may have been super-stressed conditions, immediate dinner service and late-arriving passengers who were probably hungry and exhausted and confused....all that and you STILL had access to much of what the Wish had to offer. Seriously, props to everyone. I'm sorry the concierge lounge didn't have food when you wanted it, but I know everyone was doing their very best. Love to you guys.

I don’t know if the Tracker family even realizes the amount of joy they put out into the world every day!! I’m ill & stuck at home. Missing family, food and fun. It’s been months but every time I get to watch them have fun it boosts my mood and gives me hope for better days. I so appreciate all the hard work they put into entertaining us. Can we just talk about how Tim’s voice is so absolutely nostalgic to me ? I hear his voice and it makes me think of all our first Disney trip planning , we watched him non stop lol 😂 and Jenn too! His voice is so soothing to us ! My kids and I love him and Jenn and we feel like we have all grown with them! We cried when Jackson was announced too! Anyways we love you guys !

We were on the Carnival Freedom that caught fire in Grand Turk in May. We got 2 extra days in port at Grand Turk all to ourselves and our 5 day cruise turned into a 7 day cruise. It was wild, but it was so nice! It’s fascinating how all the crew are able to pivot with ZERO heads-up to keep things rolling along for guests. So much respect for those folks.

A zipped pocket in your bed pillow is to put your JimJams (P.J.s) in during the daytime. I can not imagine the stress if those people trying to make the sailing and stuck in the lines.

Thanks for showing the Holiday room decoration package. I ordered it over the phone based off a recommendation from someone in our Facebook cruise group but had no idea what it looked like until you showed it as there were no pictures I could find. The pocket in the pillow is for pajamas. It's a pajama pillow or bag. When I was a kid it was a popular item to have. You could leave your pajamas out on your made bed this way.

This was probably an absolute logistical nightmare for the staff, I am really glad you made it on the ship though! It seemed stressful🥺 I actually work with a spa that uses Elemis, they are an amazing brand! I have to say, seeing Mickey Minnie goofy and Pluto sing Christmas songs and everyone singing along, made me smile so big

Very helpful to point out the differences between the concierge and standard deluxe rooms. Our first cruise is next year on the Dream. There’s 5 of us so we are in a Deluxe Family room with verandah. I’m not sure we would be able to afford concierge while we have to go during the kids’ school holidays but it looks great!

Love the decor of the room, except 2 things I wish (😂) they would have went with the chair at the desk instead of the poof thing, and I think the Dream we had the regular deluxe family stateroom and it had a round bathtub/shower I enjoyed the room in the circle tub.

Thanks for this Tim & Jen we are staying in the wish 13010 for a very merrytime soon so this is super helpful! I do feel like its a missed opportunity Cinderella is the main theme of this ship. I feel that they should have made these concierge rooms themed to her movie. Maybe it's because i am not a huge fan of purple lol. The Mele Kalikimaka button up is awesome!
