Top tip for Gideons is go when it's raining. We never intended to go because agree the queue is ridiculous. But when it was raining there was no queue at all. I would say the cold brew is worth the queue though now I've had it. The cookies are just alright tbh!
I love these kind of vlogs! You do such a great job of showing us around. Thank you. Absolutely loved the 2 plus hour vlog! Stride on. Laura is awesome!
Gideons is worth it to try it at least once. I think you’d enjoy their cake slices Andrew. Their cold brew coffees are also excellent. I would only do it if the virtual queue is on though or the wait is less than 45 minutes. We normally go there first if we’re spending some time in Disney Springs, see if the virtual queue is on and if it is out our name down then go do our shopping/browsing and go back when called. 13:14
I loved the platter at steakhouse 71 ,where you got a little bit of everything! It was so delicious but they’ve taken it off the menu! I loved the pressed coffee so yummy !
It was a very good Florida road trip blog yesterday when you chilling out visiting Disney springs balloon , contemporary resort breakfast , tour of high way 192 and chilling out trying out American snacks food review for the Florida vibes andrew and Laura
We went to that Baskin Robbins late in the day for an ice cream and ended up with 3 ice creams and 3 donuts for just under $3. Was only me and my lad (cameo in August)
Love the 192, most years staying in the Davenport area and 192 is so much nicer than I4 to WDW. Also love to try some of the 'exotic' snacks and drinks not available in Netherlands. And agreed, some are an acquired taste 😁
Love the eating challenge, so funny! Andrew your face was a picture! Great vlogs, But can you tell me where Laura got the following T shirt from and what brand it is please, I love it and would love to get one for my wife. If you skip the video to the following time of 34:46, you will see which i mean
We went to Disney World first in 1976 a few years after it opened and stayed in that hotel with the original Monorail. The animation was all mechanical "Animatronic"! 😊
The American Snack taste-testing is RU-vid Gold! First, as a native Texan....don't eat the beef jerky sticks. They are absolutely foul and give jerky a bad name. I wouldn't even give them to my dogs. If you haven't tried the jerky strips (flat pieces you mentioned), then try those. They aren't cheap, but they are better quality. Try the teriyaki or the pepper. As for the Boston Baked Beans...I grew up eating these, and they are really good ... at least to me, so I was surprised by your reaction. They are a Southern candy, and as you mentioned, they are like Peanut M&Ms without the chocolate. So for other Brits who are trying to imagine it, it's just a sweet/sugary candy shell (no chocolate) around a peanut. Another southern snack I would love for you to try is to get a small bag (snack size) of salted peanuts and pour them into a glass bottle coke. It sounds gross, but we used to do it growing up. The peanuts float, but it makes your coke extra fizzy and it's a sweet and salty treat. Also, if you love m&m and peanuts, buy a bag of plain m&ms and a container of cocktail peanuts (salted peanuts) and mix them all together. They are so much better than bagged peanut m&ms. Love your vlogs!
Laura if you guys are there next September I'll totally go on the slingshot with you!! We're also from Liverpool you two are my favourite fellow scousers. X
It's actually about 4 liters to 1 gallon. In the US we still use the old Queen Anne wine gallon, which is what they used in the UK back when the US became a new country. The UK has since converted to the imperial gallon but we never changed, we're still on the wine gallon.
40:55 Did you every try the American version of Dove? It is nothing compared to Galaxy in the UK. It is also called Dove in The Netherlands, but that is just the UK Galaxy which is so creamy and tasteful! This one? No thank you.
Andrew, you're so finicky! lol. There are so many things you don't like. The Boston beans and jerkey stick are not bad. I would say the beef stick is more for the guys because guys love that meaty, greasy, salty taste. I don't think the ladys care much for that, at least the women in my family wouldn't like it (they would be grossed out by it). To each their own. Keep up the good work Andrew, you're videos are some of my favorite videos on RU-vid.
I used to stay in the hotels next to and across from old town when i was younger and we used to have a walk round old town probs everynight 😄 also used to enjoy waffle house
