Just found your channel and been binging vlogs while working. I stayed at Coronado for the first time in March 2024. We loved it! Regular room ground level. Big sis joys rooms. Quiet pool just outside our door. Three Bridges Bar and Grill was AMAZING! We will definitely go back!

one of the reasons they have to open the beer for you is to prevent over serving, also you can’t leave the park with alcohol anyway so it makes sure guests drink it as soon as possible and don’t cause issues leaving the park

Yes and it has to do with their liquor license as well. They have a license to serve open containers not closed ones (opposite of grocery stores and gas stations).

You are correct, you are not able to leave the Park with open alcohol.

We have a retail Beer & Wine license at our business in TX and that is part of the procedure/requirement. If they allow you to carry it unopened that is considered distribution, which is a different license.

Epcot is my favorite! When you are hot and tired (with a baby in particular) the Mexico Pavilion is a great rest area. The restaurant is dark, cool and always put our baby to sleep! Also the baby station at Epcot (3 bridges!) is the best!!! Eat and drink your way around the world! Love it!!

As others have mentioned the beer thing is both a liquor license thing and it keeps you from turning it in to a projectile weapon (which is why stadiums do it).

Okay-I LOVE that you also struggle with a picky eater! So real…I literally plan our quick service restaurant stops based on if the uncrustable is on the kids menu! We are also always on the hunt for cherry slushees. Don’t you dare offer blue raspberry to our kids. 🤣

I used to work at a bar and it was a liquor licensing condition that all drinks had to be opened, to distinguish between a ‘bar’ license (where you drink there) and a ‘liquor store’ license where you buy to go.

Turned off the evening news and watched your video while eating my steak dinner. Much, much better for digestion! 😉😂 I've been to Disney World and Epcot 5 times. The last time was in 2003 for my daughter's high school dance/pom competition. I'm sure it would seem like an entirely new world going now. I'll be "a Bonita" the next time I'm there, helping my daughter and son in law with my grandchildren. Can't wait! I've told my daughter several times, "you have to go thru Tyler"!!! 👍🏻 Love your videos and all of the great advice and suggestions. 💞

My husband and I went on a getaway and stayed in the Tower. I absolutely loved it. My new favorite lobby smell. The only downside of that resort is the transportation. The wings at the terrace were so flipping good!

I can’t speak for Florida but in Maine and NH it’s the law that alcoholic drinks have to be opened by the server. They are several different types of liquor licenses and most restaurants/lounges don’t allow them to sell alcohol that is intended to consumed of the grounds.

It's funny you guys mentioned Epcot was the first park you guys went to. I was at Epcot the first day and then the second we went to Magic Kingdom , 3rd day Animal Kingdom and the last day i went to Hollywood Studios. By the way Epcot is also one of my favorite parks.

I’m originally from Florida and moved to Texas a little over 3 years ago. My biggest problem leaving Florida was leaving Disney but I did. Then with COVID hitting I haven’t been back but we (my and my partner) are going next month (it’s her first time ever) and can I say I was crying happy tears because I literally can’t wait to be back home. I’m so excited to go back and even more excited to take her for her first time

Toledo is amazing!! Def a hidden gem. and coronado springs resort is a hidden gem overall in my opinion. Three bridges is also great- walk up only tho which can be difficult.

I think they make you open the drink for the opposite reason. That way if they catch someone with any unopened beer (snuck in), they can't say try to say they just bought it in the park

It’s is for the opposite reason. A friend of mine who works for Disney Parks said it is how they know it was bought in park and also monitor number of drinks purchased. If you have to open it you can’t go give it to a minor “in theory” lol

It’s a condition of their licensing. A lot of bars require this. Its theoretically to do with the liability of the bar to make sure patrons don’t get too drunk, and giving them beer ‘to go’ implies they’ll be drinking it elsewhere which they’re not licensed to do.

I highly recommend a neck fan for your Disney trips. I have awful hot flashes & they make a huge difference. They even have some with cooling plates & fan in one, but those are expensive, but possibly worth it. It would even be safe for little Gigi to wear. I groom dogs & the openings for the fan are so small that hardly any hair cgets into it. There's no way her tiny little fingers could get in it. I believe I've sold 30+ of them through recommendations & letting them try it on.

I’ve stayed at Gran Destino Tower my last two trips and 10/10 would recommend! Felt like a deluxe experience but at a moderate resort price.

The girls are so cute! It’s funny because when my daughter was little, I had to take Lunchables to the park, and she didn’t always eat it. With my son, he ate everything!!! He was so easy! He would have been very happy with the steak!

My daughter is a “picky eater” as well but she’s the opposite of most picky eaters, she doesn’t like any type of meat or sandwiches. I always have to order steamed broccoli/carrots with mashed potatoes and salmon, which is basically an adult meal 🤦🏻‍♀️

The elevators crack me up. We got those at work about 6 years ago and people still walk up and get so confused about how to operate them. They’re all excellent for crowd control, but one of the worst things is if you miss your floor in the elevator (easy to do in a building with 30+ floors), you have no way to select a new floor so you literally have to wait until someone else calls the elevator, get out there and then select your floor again. Small design flaw :)

I literally just walked in from driving to NY from Disney and turned your vlog on LOL. I am wiped. How do you look so refreshed in that heat? I could not believe the crowds and many things have changed there sadly. Lack of characters and international students. The food was good (food and wine) but I wish it wasn't so hot as it prevented us from physically handling everything on our list of things to do. I did ride Rise and Flight of Passage though! Insane! Looking forward to the rest of your trip! Do you guys do adult rides with the kids there? How does that work?

The beer opening thing has to do with Florida package liquor laws. If it's open then you are buying it to be consumed on the premises. If it's closed technically that's a package liquor and can only be sold under a special license. We don't have many liquor rules here but that's a big one.
