Disney World MONEY WASTING Challenge 

I think a combo of the two days/ways is how to go about it. My wife & I bring in breakfast stuff (eat while in line to rope drop) so we save time & money. But Genie+ also provides a way to save time. The editors continue to crush it "she was correct, he can sit on momma's lap." 🤣🤣

Gotta admit that when I think of Hollywood Studios, Jiko is not exactly something I think of, but glad it looked fun! Emma's eyes got really pink, though... ;)

I think the best way to do Hollywood studios is to get Genie plus but eat light. Quick service and snacks are really filling, even if you choose to get kids meals (and I highly recommend the grilled cheese and tomato soup kids meal at Woody's).

Sage's day looked so much more fun to me. I would do his eating strategy but get Genie+. And that would be the perfect day for me. 😄

I really liked this concept and was excited to watch the video. Unfortunately, I agree with some of the other commenters that it should have been filmed on the same day for comparison. Further, Jiko has nothing to do with HS! I would have liked to see a comparison of the seat Sage got at fantasmic/how far in advance her had to get there vs. Emma doing a fantasmic dining package. Comparison should be apples to apples.

Do a pin trading challenge in all 4 parks in 2 days

Sage really nailed it by saying that eating at home will save time. Once inside the park it is better to save time considering: airfare, time off work, hotel, car and other fixed expenses of the vacation that could be spent riding rides instead of a coffee line Of course the McDonald’s by the All Stars is the best

My one problem with video is on the analytical aspect filming sage part of the video on a different day doesn’t provide accurate data when comparing

We did 6 days. Budgeted $6.6k but only spend 6k and half of that was the tickets. That incluced everything, gas, hotels, food, souvineers. We had an amazing trip.

I also always eat breakfast at the hotel usually cereal for the kids that we got delivered and then save time and money in the parks.

I save money by ordering ice water cuz drinks always add so much to your meal. On a rare day I’ll get a coke but it’s almost a year now. When I had the kids we would always eat at someplace they liked on the way there. Years ago I took the kids for 15 days to WDW, stayed at PopCentury ($89 a day) for 10 days then 5 day at Port Orleans Hotel. I lucked out cuz Delta had round trip from Sacramento to Orlando for also $89 each of us and it must have been a mistake. Got APs too but booked only 3 big sit downs cuz they take too much time out of your day and we were always rope drop till close kind of family. Love these two, Emma and Sage.

30:00 The last time I was there, I ordered off the kids’ menu twice. I got the kids’ chicken strips from Good’s Food to Go at Old Key West and the kids’ chicken tip yip from Docking Bay 7. They give you decent sized portions.

Great video, I gotta say, even though I'm never on a budget, I wouldn't spend all that Emma did. I looked at Allears menus and without tax, I was able to get breakfast, lunch and dinner for $20.47. I got a big ole muffin at the Jeoffry's cart outside of ToT, I had my free coffee in my hotel room and made a 2nd cup to go and drank it on the way and while in line for my first ride. I often get one of these muffins and to be honest, end up throwing some of it away because they are huge. I brought my water bottle so I had something to drink with my muffin. For lunch I got a kid's meal at Woodys - a half sandwich which came with tator tots, a cutie and a small drink - I got a small milk. For dinner I went to ABC and got the kids Pork tacos which was a taco with rice and beans and I'm going to assume a dessert or cutie and a drink since they always come with that. I got a small soft drink and a cookie and I'm taking that with me to have while I watch the show. I also still have my water bottle which I've been filling up all day. I probably have my lunch cutie left over as well. I always eat the kid's meals if I'm eating QS anyway, they are more than enough food for me, I usually have that left over cutie or dessert to take with me every time. I always take a water bottle with me and I always have my coffee in my room, why pay for one when I can get it for free. I never buy Genie +, not because I'm on a budget or can't afford it because I'm not and I can, but because I've found I just don't need it and I don't like being tied down to a time to do something.

If ordering off the kids menu is embarrassing to ya, as well as mobile order you can just pretend you’re being a great friend for a fed up mom waiting outside with her tired child 😂

Kids menu is the best tip - I do it all the time- of course I usually add booze so the cost goes up

i can not disagree more - do not eat breakfast in the park. unless you live down there, are in the parks all the time. if you are on a yearly or multi year cycle, or FIRST TIME... do not eat breakfast. Plan stuff for in your room before you head to your park BEFORE RD.. We DO love to eat breakfast at Poly... so we do it on a day before or AFTER our Disney trip . If you are on the DDP...its even more of a waste to use a credit for breakfast when it comes to value. Disney wins if you use a DDP credit for breakfast.

Hey guys! Love your work. I was wondering if I could make a tiny video request? I’m coming from the end of April - early May. We are coming from Australia, on a belated honeymoon, without our children. Thank gosh for generous grandparents who let us have this once in a lifetime experience. We want to take the opportunity to sleep in. I don’t wanna wake up at 7:00AM to start stacking rides. If I purchased genie plus at midnight but didn’t start using it till 11:00AM would that work? Any sleep in hacks? We are staying delux to get the late night hours to help with our nocturnal preferences. Any tips at all?

I stay outside of the park, eat outside of the park. That's how I save a ton of money in comparison to staying in the park
