Hi kristen! Thanks for being so authentic. Love your videos & your personality because you bring such a nonchalant vibe where people can just relate with you, like every day people without trying so hard!!! Just wanted to let you know you are adored so keep doing you, you’re special! ❤ Btw, love Ronto wraps…good thing they don’t put mayo in there lol 😝
@@wrightdownmainstreetI’m sure it is but I feel like you’re missing one third of the flavor. Also, there’s barely any mayo in that sauce! I’m honestly not annoyed or mad, I’m more sad that you’re missing out on something great.
One day when I get over my mayo phobia I promise I will try it for you guys haha What I really want to try is the ronto-less garden wrap in a few weeks
I love these videos. Thanks for showing the variety.!!! I haven’t read the comments so I don’t know if someone already posted this but you used to be able to get the carrot cake cookie at the writers shop I believe is what it was called over by Muppet vision and then the villain store on Sunset in the dessert case. But if they’re not there anymore, it’s good to know that Starbucks has a version.!!!
Sometimes I feel like Disney World, and Disneyland are like bizarro worlds of each other. Your rontos roasters closes at 2 PM and ours is one of the only places that you can get food after 9pm because it closes at midnight… I wonder why they have made this distinction between the two parks when the lands are identical?
I feel like Disneyland quick service restaurants all stay open so late 😅😅 I love being able to get Jolly Holiday, Bengal BBQ & even some pizza planet pasta past 8 pm. All quick service restaurants, lounges & snack places pretty much close by 8 here with the exception of a few.
Baseline is a must do for us every time we go to the Studios. Charcuterie, pretzel, Hefeweizen, and Bloody Orange cider are our go to's. We don't get a lot of snacks since we stop at Baseline and always eat at a meal at Brown Derby. We feel the same way and stick to the same food all the time. Some of those did look good. May have to try something different next time!
I like that you included savory items in this vlog. I'm not a sweet eater... I like a sweet every now and then, but you need the savories to keep the engine going in the parks.
Totally agree with Ryan - popcorn would be on my list. Would love to see revamp of quick serve food options at HS. Really want to try Baseline in a future trip. Thanks for sharing!
Wow 50 bucks for food snacks and drinks that's amazing I did not know that was even possible I'm going to check out your other 50 bucks videos super useful
Great video! I enjoyed you sharing the snacks with us. I tried the carrot cake on my first visit and I was not impressed at all. I love carrot cake and assume I just got a bad one late in the day. I would try it again.
Hi Kristen. Always love your videos!! The great crew neck shirt mystery! Lol Have you tried shopdisney? I was also thinking, maybe LBV could make one similar in your honor! 🤷🏻♀️😉💕
Kristen, don't forget that you can get the breakfast ronto wrap if you are doing a full day at the park. I grab that and the wife grabs andy's tots and we have a killer breakfast meal to start the day.
You put my 2 faves on the list, but I am a sweets more than savory person. Love that raspberry lunchbox tart, and the carrot cake cookie has always been my go to. I think the sweets at HS are fine, but finding lunch and dinner there is a problem for me. I always eat breakfast before heading to HS so I can get a snack only. I always get dinner somewhere else. I recently got my first ronto wrap on your recommendation and I did enjoy it. I did get it with the peppercorn ranch and it was good. I am with Ryan, we get popcorn and bring it to Baseline to snack on with our beverahges.
Have you looked at the store right next to boardwalk resort? I can’t remember the name of their store, but it’s the one right next to them with the a small bakery and merch. We always find merch that is super hard to find over there. Not sure why..but that is our go to spot to find popular stuff that is sold out everywhere. Had decent luck there. Hope you find your crew neck! 🤞
@@wrightdownmainstreet well dang! That sucks. Maybe they will restock somewhere at some point..of course with Florida weather maybe not 😬 happy hunting! I’m new-ish to your channel and I have really been enjoying your videos. ❤️
I had the misfortune of trying the Black Caf during the period they switched to the rice krispies. Between that and ordering it at 7pm, I thought it tasted terrible and was bummed. Took two sips and threw it out. One day I hope to give the proper one a fair chance since even my friends rave about it. And I'm with you on a savory lunch box tart!
I did not get it when they had the Krispies but I imagine it wouldn’t be good, bad timing! Hopefully next time you’re here they have the Cocoa Puffs 🤞🏻
Right before you said it , I was like “ lemon blueberry” lolol I didn’t know they came out with one already though :( they should bring it back Still love your last name ( it’s Mine too lol)
I would eat almost the same things….but I would have to switch out the carrot cake for the Wookie Cookie. I can’t go to HS without getting one. So so good! And I’m not usually an oatmeal cream pie fan.
Hey Kristen! I love and appreciate these budget videos. I wanted to comment to try Creations. I saw that the merch you’re hunting for was there about 2 days ago. Good luck!🤞🏼
Never tried any of those. I prefer ice cream to cakes. Also, would have saved dinner money rather than snacks. That's a good tip with the refills on the drink. I have never been to baseline either! The pretzel sounds good.
Kristen, you are so creative with your videos! They're all interesting and different and never get old!! PS... my kids and I love the NumNum cookie at Hollywood studios!
Thanks so much! The only reason I can’t get behind the Jack Jack cookie in Hollywood Studios is because the Jack Jack cookie in DCA is so much better somehow
Great video! Thanks so much! For anyone on a budget, another great way to stretch your Disney budget is to buy discount Disney gift cards. My personal favorite is buying them at Target and paying with my Target Red debit card for 5% off. That price is year round. Other places will have great sales as well. Costco has discounted gift cards sometimes and Best Buy will occasionally have a sale on their $50 Disney gift cards. Do your research and keep your eyes open to make every Disney penny stretch as far as possible.
@@wrightdownmainstreet yes! Be very sure that you are not buying the Disney+ cards! I have heard of many people making that mistake and Disney will not help you.
Sounds like good eats but…. Not exactly substantial food to keep you going all day. It was basically a ronto wrap and a ton of sweets and snacks and specialty drinks.
Found you through Mr Morrow & your brother! I'm really enjoying your honesty & humor! The lunch box tart wothout enough filling remunds me of pop tarts! Not enough filling. Chedder biscuits always the best even at Red Lobster lol. As always thx 4 taking us all along on your adventure
I have to respectfully disagree…MK is the absolute worst for any foodie. Quick Service, Sit down, the best is mediocre. Except for the pineapple coconut Dole Whip. It’s drool worthy. But getting back on track, MK food stinks and HS actually has a handful of really good options that I can’t say about MK. MK wins the worst food war.
I'm sorry, but you've just spent $35 on sugary rubbish!! NO-ONE needs to have that many sweet snacks in an average park day!! We can eat for less than $30 each in an average park: 2 'mains' and 1 snack - free water and bring our own drinks. The last thing we want to spend a huge chunk of our budget on is 2 poptarts, a whoopie cake, an overpriced pretzel and let's not talk about that way overpriced coffee you bought first thing. And yes, I take my refillable popcorn bucket and have a couple of popcorns during our holiday.
She bought a hot dog first not a coffee. Your post is so very angry. You aren’t the food police and when I go to theme parks, I buy what makes me happy because it is fun! Lighten up.
Jinkies! No one should be food shamed when they’re at Disney. I go often and sometimes I eat healthy, sometimes I don’t as long as you’re getting your 23,000 steps in walking around Disney, what does it matter? 😊
