I love Garden Grill! So many good memories there. Mickey tried to feed me ice cream once and put it up my nose. Mickey and Chip got into a "food" fight one night. Ended with Mickey putting ice down Chip's back. And somehow Mickey ended up on the floor with the waitress standing over him, her foot on his back, and her arms in the air in a victory pose. So. Much. Fun. Since they are less busy you get more of these unexpected interactions. That night we were one of the last seatings so the restaurant was basically empty. We loved seeing the silly side of Mickey. And Chip! People expect antics from Dale. But tend to forget that Chip and Mickey are also silly and slight trouble makers too.
Garden Grill was always our day 1 breakfast choice. It is a comfort food lovers heaven. We loved the huge meal and the cinnamon rolls were out of the world. The character interactions seemed much more personal than any other dining options. We were so disappointed to find no breakfast service upon our return this year. We must start a campaign or petition or something to get breakfast reinstated.
When you mentioned Living with the Land boat ride was one of the best rides ever and immediately said you would be taking no more questions at the time had me rolling. I always feel the same way when I'm sharing with friends my love for rides like that as well.
This is our favorite table service restaurant in all of WDW! The food is fantastic and the characters are so adorable with their farmer vibe! If you are a plant based eater, the vegan/vegetarian option is also delicious! A must do for us each visit!
Had lunch at garden grill in December 2019 purely off of AJs recommendation and it was my favourite! The server was so friendly, met all the characters multiple times and weren’t rushed. Food was terrific especially that dessert OMG I still think about it. Highly recommend. Thanks AJ!
We would LOVE to visit Garden Grill. I love the idea of the rotating dining area. It reminds me of our CN tower restaurant, that revolves while you dine. You catch such BEAUTIFUL views of downtown Toronto. It's nice that you can have that extra time with Mickey and his pals! It's so amazing that there is a replica of the wonderful Walt Disney's "childhood" room. The story of the lit lamp at Disneyland is always touching to hear, and think about. Much enjoyed. Have a magical week!💖💖
We went to garden grill in 2019 with our 2 year old on your recommendation AJ! Absolutely glad we did - it was a lovely experience and she had a lot of cuddles with Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale 🥰 As first time visitors we wouldn’t have known to go without your channel!
Definitely one of the best restaurants in WDW. We loved it so much when we visited this past May. Character interactions were frequent and not rushed. Food was fantastic! Of the three character meals we did during our trip, this was hands down the best; beating CRT and Tusker House.
I Love Garden Grill! When I get back to WDW, it HAS to be one of the restaurants I go to. I also like watching the Living With The Land boats flow past with the restaurant over them. It's kinda like the Pinocchio Village House looking over It's A Small World, only cooler (imo).
I ate at Garden Grill several years ago. It is a nice experience, the food is good, and the characters to go around several times, so you can see them and interact with time more than once. I also love the fact it spins so can see something different. I did not know about THAT room! That is cool!
I wasn’t super interested in this at first but after watching your last few videos covering this, it’s moved to my #1 for Epcot! Space 220 looks awesome too, but there’s just something about this that slightly edges it out for me! 😊
Just went last night…EXCELLENT!!! Good food, comfortable booths with tables that move out to get in so very “fluffy”-friendly. Saw each character at least twice in less than an hour :) Definitely suggest doing this one before you are done for the day because you will be FULL!
We went there on my birthday on 5/31. Booked the experience 60 days before, as per the guidance of this channel. My kids has a great time seeing the characters and eating the food. It was a great experience.
AJ and DFB team THANK YOU for featuring my favorite restaurant on Disney property. I’m a HUGE Chip n Dale fan and fan of Living With the Land. I believe it’s worth the money and is a great choice for the kiddos
We love the Garden Grill! And we will really miss eating breakfast there this trip. Their breakfast used to be really tasty (not sure if anyone else remembers those cheese grits, but they were excellent!).
We were just there a month ago per your recommendations. Took our grandkids, 16 mos, and a 2 yo. It was their first character meal. The characters were so good with them, letting their parents take their hands and rub their arms to get the feel. By the end of the meal they were hugging and dancing with them.
Son is a big chip and dale fan. This past trip we were at Epcot by his favorite ride figment. I suggested garden grill to the family. We never tried it before and omg it was a game changer! I couldn’t eat all the food but the characters were amazing!!!! My son had a blast! My family loved the food! Highly recommend! Hope to come back again!
I can’t believe we’ve never eaten there, but I am going to try for reservations for our next trip in January. I tried for it with our last trip on my 60 days out and couldn’t get a reservation.
Garden Grill is our must go to restaurant when we go to Epcot once every 2 years on vacation. The characters come by so many times it takes us an hour to eat. We always stop and take tuns of pics. The Foid is Delicious, it's worth the money. It's the best place to Character Dinning.
We were there in April (2021) for lunch and the tables on the inner circle wernt being used. We got to see each of the characters 4-5 times, each. Definitely the best restaurant we went to, despite not having as good food as many other restaurants in Epcot.
Am I hallucinating? I swear there was a farmer Minnie a few or maybe several years back. It’s been over five years for my family and I. But I LOVE the place! Thank you for giving it the attention it deserves!
This is my favorite restaurant. I have been eating here since I was a little girl. I can't wait to bring my future kids here. My parents remember when the upstairs was open. I also remember when minnie mouse was there.
I’ve never tried this restaurant, but I plan to,on one of my family’s future trips. We ate at our hotel at whispering canyon. The food was almost the same, and a little less money.
As a vegetarian I went in expecting to just eat Mac and veggies but they brought me a WHOLE plate of vegetarian food and it was great. It was a “veggie loaf” and it was 10/10.
I feel like i always skip the front of EPCOT’s restaurants. You can find similar eats elsewhere. EPCOT is known for its international eats and i can’t say no to that. I do however wish i could see the land from that perspective.
Loved Garden Grill last year. But no turkey. 😕 We’ll probably go though. Loved it too much not to go. And Living with the Land is awesome especially at Christmas time in the dark. 💚
I was booking dining this morning for our September trip and no topolino’s terrace breakfast reservations were available. We are staying at AoA so easy to get there. I booked chef mickeys for now but I’ll be checking back
Our last trip I was going to skip Garden Grill because the characters were distanced but my son got so upset that I booked it anyway. Weirdly enough his favorite part of the meal is the salad! He asks them to bring more after he wolfs down that big bowl.🤣
Garden grill is a great restaurant… but, back in 2018 chip and dale were at my family’s table while the waiter was giving us our food, there was a cockroach that ran into the kitchen and scared my family and chip and dale 😂 dale even ran off scared, wasn’t the best experience but at least they had good food? Lol
I really wanted to like Garden Grill, but the food at this restaurant is not good. I absolutely love characters coming to my table, but I also want to eat decent food. However, Garden Grill is just as bad as Chef Mickey’s and Hollywood and Vine. If me and my family go to Disney World weekly for the next 5 years, I still wouldn’t return to either of those 3 character meals, unless drastic improvements to the food are made. And I’m not picky, my bar is low for any Disney restaurant. I just want something decent, and definitely edible. But it seems that DFB has their favorites that they talk about over and over again, no matter what.
Garden grill wasn’t great in my opinion. $62 per person, slow service and we got in with a walk in, not expecting to eat so much and spend 2 hours there. Our server was nice and the characters were cool but the food kinda sucked
