Hey everyone! I'm finally sitting dow to share a Disney trip recap. I discuss everything from resort review of Art of Animation and The Polynesian to total trip cost and more. I discuss the dining plan and my thoughts on that as well as Genie + and if I thought it was worth it. This trip was a 7 night 6 day trip for 1 adult and 1 child in April. We had the Disney dining plan for 4 nights, 5 park days with park hopper option, bought Genie+ for 3 days & flew nonstop from Maine : )

Hey Hayley random but I bought Lumify eye drops that you had on one of your videos! Holy cow they are amazing thank you for recommending. Hayley~Great advice on setting expectations and “going with the flow.” I would give the same advice for Disneyland. Once I reach the park, my attitude is that we make the best of our day regardless of lines, ride closures, cranky people, etc.

Wonderful review and breakdown! I just got back from Walt Disney World and learned so much about the Disney dining plan. I ended up getting double the value out of the disney dining quickservice plan by using the child meal credits at locations with no kids menus like Rontos Roasters & yorkshire county fish shop to get the adult meal options and share. Another thing I will say is you can add the dining plan to a room reservation without a park ticket that Disney doesn’t really advertise. It’s called a ticketless package that you can only do by calling Disney directly to change your room only reservation to it and add the dining plan. From a fellow Polynesian lover, here is to many more wonderful vacations! 🥂

Oh that is a great tip! I never knew you could add one to a room reservation only! I’m more of a picky eater so I never get the expensive meals 🤦‍♀️ but it felt amazing knowing it was already paid for!

Great video. You can also use up your snack credits in the shoppes and buy the sealed candy and snacks and take them home. We had a huge bag filled and took home.

I hope Disney sponsors you and Sydney soon because you have influenced me and my family into at least two trips at this point 😂 and I'm thinking about another! OAN the VIP tour is a good option for those in your party that may be mobility challenged. It's a bit pricey, but we cut some of the cost by making the trip a bit shorter....think 4 days vs 6 days. My parents and in-laws really appreciated being shuttled from park to park.

We are in the process of planning our trip for 2025! I’m so excited! How did you find the discounts (ie dining plan). We have that booked for now but it’s me and all boys so they’re hungry people 😂

If you go on the Disneyworld.disney.go.com site click on places to stay and scroll down to special offers! They are always adding them. You can add these to your already booked trip 😄

My daughter is 8 and will need a stroller this year at Disney still. Most strollers are for 50 lbs or less. Do you know of an affordable stroller for 55+ lbs? We don’t use strollers back at home ever.

Unfortunately I have no experience with strollers with a bigger height or weight limit 😭 My daughter was just under the recommended range for ours which was a Graco that we’ve had since she was a baby! But honestly I would google it. Some stroller rentals may offer varying ranges as long as it fits in Disney’s size restrictions. We don’t use a stroller at home at all but boy did we need it in Disney 😅🙏 Best of luck & have a blast!!

Oh gosh it’s so hard to choose haha I’d say the late November trip when it was decorated for Christmas was so magical!! And this April trip was the perfect hot but not humid, perfect swimming weather! Crowd wise… our September trip was the least crowded! It really is so hard to choose 😂 Just NOT August 🥵 if I could avoid that time of year I absolutely would
