Dear Chris. I so support your love for "The Compassionate Friends" group. I'm sorry for your loss and understand that pain myself. It's a Dad's club we both belong too. I was the guy who dressed like you for Halloween. I admire your courage and wish you and your family a Merry Christmas. And Chris it's OK to allow yourself time to grieve. Much ❤. Doug
Oh man Chris. Thank you so much for supporting an organization like The Compassionate Friends. We lost our son almost 3yrs ago and organizations like this one helped us so much to navigate thru our grief. They provide such a valuable service to families at the worst time of their lives.
It would be cool if you could make some sort of digital checklist of all these hidden details and Easter Eggs if people ever wanted to go on a scavenger hunt for them! Maybe something inspired by the Hidden Mickey books by Steven M. Barrett and the Seen Unseen Disneyland books. Plus, that robot hanging in the wires at 14:20 in the bottom right kind of resembles Stitch to me. Also...UPITTY, UPITTY, UP UP UP!
Oh Chris, my heart and prayers are with you. My cousin passed away 6 years ago on Christmas day and my aunt hasnt been the same, maybe this support group you mentioned could help her. Since then, our family struggles to embrace the joy of that day along with the sadness it also brings for us. A loss like that is not something we get over, but each day brings hope and a chance to live for that person as they are still by your side 😇
Chris, Thank you for the Compassionate Friends information. My niece and her husband (a Disneyland Cast Member lost their 4 year old on Monday to a sudden illness. Hearts are breaking. Thank you.
My mom would help me pick out my outfits when I was a little girl. When I was about 7 one day she was helping me and said I should wear my jack skellington T shirt. She surprised us and took my brother and I to Disneyland instead of taking us to school. It’s one of my favorite memories to date
The shop with the hat on the light that matches the painting on the wall was a hat shop in the 90’s. I worked their and we used to make custom hats as well as sale some premade hats for guest.
I want to give you a BIG hug Chris. I hope “The Compassionate friends” organization has helped you with the loss of your beautiful daughter. You have such a strong soul and a compassionate heart!
Jose and the other masters of ceremony birds have their birdhouses in the Tropical Hideaway area as well! They are hard to see, but they are on the left side by the top of Tiki Room. Not just the girls!
Also the jade elephant above the Jungle Cruise stroller parking area is named Penny and she's from the Penny Arcade. When they re-did the Penny Arcade they didn't know what to do with a giant jade elephant and they managed to find a home for her at Jungle Cruise
Chris, The Compassionate Project seems like a great organization. I'm going to look into donating. I remember feeling so sad for you when you lost your daughter. I have a daughter that is a similar age as your daughter. I can only imagine how you feel. Also, this was a great video. I hope we can look UP some more
Chris thank you for sharing the Compassionate friends group organization. My brother passed away this Monday and my mom is destroyed. I’m going to contact them to see if they can help my mom. Thank you so much. And keep up the great videos I’ve used a lot of Disneyland Knowledge that I learned from you to show my family every time we visit the park and they love it
I am definitely going to bookmark the site for The Compassionate Friends and give just as soon as I can. I have never lost my own child, but in summer of 2020 our family lost a dear young friend who practically grew up in our home, with our boys. I felt the loss terribly and will probably grieve him for the rest of my life. It hurts. A LOT. So glad there is an organization like this. Thanks for bringing it to light. God bless you and your family and have a blessed Christmas. 💕
• The WD and RD were cooler when they weren't painted gold • The hanging opossums used to say "wheeeee!" as they spun around • The mounted heads in the Winnie the Pooh attraction used to be in the Mile Long Bar • There are roof supports in front of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique painted to look like Captain Hook, Mr. Swee, and the Crocodile. The Boutique was originally the Tinker Bell Toy Shop • There used to be an X-Wing Fighter hanging in the Star Trader

Dear Chris, thank you for making my day even more better! Your humor and personality is priceless! Disneyland's attention to detail is so fascinating around every corner you look. The Imagineers are so incredible with embedding the detail to make you look even deeper. My love for Disneyland and your channel continues to grow! Your family and crew remain at the top most part of my heart! Have an amazing holiday season!
CHRIS!❣Thank you so much for just walking us through the park. We were just there in November, my sons & I, for the first time and we were sooooooo focused on everything we wanted to do that I feel like I didn't have time to catch my breath. (And just look up..😉)
What's UP! Chris! My 2 favorite up moments in Disneyland (I know you've mentioned both before) are the Evil Queen peering down from her window and the dual painted light bulb on Main Street. Keep UP the great work, it's appreciated!
UP! That's one movie I tear up everytime, I've seen it 10 times at least. Chris thankyou for bringing light to a hard subject in the middle of the video.
Up, please. Now you have us looking up literally and figuratively. Thank you for sharing The Compassionate Friends with such passion. There are far too many families that have walked that journey alone.
Greetings Chris, I love your videos and content. Your heartfelt message about Compassionate Friends pulled my heart strings. Sending you and your family, the 38 million American parents who have lost little ones, and to people all over the world, whose little ones now live in the Sky World. Thank you for all you do. ☺️

Thank you for sharing all of these little nuggets of trivia and wisdom of the Magical land of Disney. Of course, I'd like to see more of Cal Adventure, so here's an UP for you! I used to live near Disneyland, but haven't been around for many years. But, seeing the changes bring back the memories I have of it. Sorry to see they took out the People Mover, and Starcade. Those were really popular back in the day.
