Disneyland Hotel is a great place to stay if you are visiting Disneyland Resort in California. This original hotel opening in October 1955 and has been a centrally located magical place to stay for families visiting Disneyland. We stayed here on my very first Disneyland visit and so here is a resort tour of the Disneyland hotel. We will see the Disneyland Hotel pool featuring monorail slides, Goofys Kitchen, Trader Sam's and more. We will also show you a look in the Fantasy, Frontier and Adventureland tower as well as a Disneyland Hotel room tour.

I stayed here when I was 6 and 8 and now years later at 17 I’m going again in two months and I’m already watching RU-vid videos cause I’m way too excited already 😂 also goofys breakfast is amazing ❤

Great tour Krystal thank you. I have to watch more of your videos your so cute. The room is beautiful. The fireworks on the carpet stop. The Mickey lamps oh how adorable and they Mickey handles. The headboard is gorgeous with the fireworks. I so want to eat at goofys kitchen. The retro merch is so cute. I love the haunted mansion

YES they for REAL need a sign out front, right!? 😂 The resort itself is so magical, but how would you ever know if you can't find it? You did a great job with the tour, very in-depth and covered lots of amenities and additions that we missed! We stayed at the DLH for three nights at the tail end of our April trip, and would have loved to have stayed longer. It's so convenient to walk to Downtown Disney and Disneyland from the hotel entrance, and the rooms are so spacious, homey and comfortable. It is _quite_ a splurge, though, comparable to the deluxe resorts at WDW in terms of pricing, so sadly not something that we can afford to do on every visit. Once they had the DVC wing, though, you'd better believe we'll be staying there every way more often! 😁 Excellent video, thanks for sharing - and so glad that you finally made it to the California parks!

Hi! Your video was so cool! My family and I are going for a 4 days trip in a few more weeks, so I found it pretty usefull! I just have a question... did you specifically asked for staying at the Fantasy Tower? Or was it just luck? And do you know if the monorail opens by the time the early entry begins? I mean, is it a good a strategy to take the monorail so we can get srtraight into the park at 7:30? ThakYou so much for taking the time to answer and greetings from Guadalajara, Mexico.

Another Monorail tip - you can't ride just for fun! You do have to have a park ticket/reservation for Disneyland park to get on. I meant to ride the day we were in the park but got busy, so just asked while visiting DD on our last day. Great tour of the hotel! We were there for Chef Goofy's, but other than walking through to Downtown Disney, didn't explore too much more. Thanks for sharing!

The monorail used to be at the Disneyland hotel. They didn’t move the station they just moved back the hotel after they put in downtown Disney. When I was a kid you could buy a ticket for $1 and ride the monorail round trip from the Disneyland Hotel. Growing up in the area my mom used to take me just to to that as an after school treat.

Years ago the monorail did go through the Disneyland hotel. Maybe over 25 years ago. The stop was infront of the hotel to the left if you are facing the enterance.

The monorail slide. I wonder if Matthew gray gubler has stayed here. He loves Disney and Disneyland. Dr spencer Reid on criminal minds. He is a sweetheart. Love him. I don’t think he’s been to Walt Disney World but I know he’s been to Tokyo, Disney. If he loved Tokyo, he would love Walt Disney World.

The Orlando resort for universal comes with 1. Hour early access for the park before everyone else. 2. Fast pass included ($270) included for free 3. Free transportation to and from the airport. is it worth picking this resort over the universal Orlando one? I’m a bigger Disney fan but it seems like the Orlando resort comes with more value for what you get. Like I know it’s apples and oranges but I’m not sure which one to choose for a family vacation. 🧐🧐🧐

Universal does have a lot of great benefits and you do get a great value. I will say though, the Universal express pass is only include if you stay at a premiere resort (Hard Rock, Royal Pacific or Portofino Bay) and the Universal Superstar Shuttle from the airport is about $39 for adult round trip. I do however love Universal Orlando and think they are doing a great job at giving a better value. It is really hard to choose I would recommend pricing out each trip and decide what kind of vacation you are looking for (more thrill rides at Universal or the classic Disney rides). You can also check out theparkprodigy.com thats who I use for Disney and Universal tickets and packages because they are very trustworthy and have great deals for both Disney and Universal. Hope this helped a bit!
