► Join me as I eat at King Ludwig's Castle restaurant in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris. This is mostly a German restaurant with a variety of food from steaks to pastas and burgers. The theming in there is incredible and they also do Happy Hour. I had dinner there for the first time and this is my experience. Have you ever eaten there?

19:35 is indeed a copy of a painting by Ferdinand Piloty showing King Ludwig II. who for example had built Castle Neuschwanstein. It's also the picture of Ludwigs Wikipedia page 😄. Lots of the food is not German or specifically Bavarian which seems to be the theme - lots of German like under 60 will still enjoy the food, I think. A beautiful restaurant. I agree to the lack of diverse food there in general. Hope you still had a good time. ❤️

Wow I have looked over and over the restaurants in disneyland paris I have never run into this one! Its really beautiful inside I love the aesthetics! The food looks good too so I will definetally go there on my trip in november! Thanks for the video!

I remember going to king Ludwigs about 20 years ago. Really liked it and always remember the size of the beer glasses. They were huge. Must go there again .

King Lugwigs Castle is the 1st place I ever ate at on my 1st trip to Disneyland. I have been back a number of times since. I really enjoy it each time I go :)

The bar area there is so nice! It might not look like too much but they have lovely bartenders and we have met many castmembers there over the years. Nice way to unwind a little with a beer or glass of wine after a long Disney day before diner. So happy to be going to the magic again 3-5 march.

Oh another we have never eaten at, and very tempted now! Did you get a discount with your pass? All the food looked fantastic. I'd love a steak, but with your comments and others I've watched I may try that at Chez Remy.

Before the grandchildren arrived…(love them and bless them…) we always used to eat at King Ludwigs Castle on the way back to Cheyenne about 10.30 pm…..We usually go upstairs….and we ask for the round table as in King Arthur’s round table!! Then a beer at the garter saloon…. Always had a good meal and the atmosphere was always lovely….. Yep everything does taste better with Mayo…lots of Mayo…..👍🇬🇧

I. Love. Mayo. with pretty much everything too lol! I liked king ludwigs…been a couple of times now…I had a douphinoise & then some flat bread thing lol! Was nice to see the upstairs ☺️ Sorry for the ramble 😂

I love ludwigs. We always go there. We do a late lunch between parcs. I love that it’s one of the more quiet options, opposed to rainforest cafe, which is bonkers 😭 We like a little quiet time in between the crazy of the parcs. I also always go for the streaks. I chose the flammenkuche once, but the cheese was to intense for my taste.

Tried the mozzarella sticks recently based on this video. They were so good!! Sometimes the cheese in the states can taste powdery but not these. So enjoyed them

Along with Chez Remy, Ludwig's is one other restaurant we always visit at least twice on our holidays there. Lovely steak & a big stein of lager goes down well after a long day at the parks. Years ago upstairs used to be for 'smoking only'. How times have changed.

Hi Sam, I'm so pleased that you enjoyed King Ludwig's Castle & even more so after seeing the upstairs area. I've never eaten there & would love to - its on my list ! A few years ago, I think I did watch a vlog by the french vlogger Curious Axel & he was with family and friends and I'm sure they sat on that lovely round table you mentioned. I think at that time, there was a german oompah band playing in there too so the atmosphere was amazing! I love the theming & vibe. Those mozarella sticks & chicken strips looked delicious and your steak of course too. ( Incidentally, I remember your vlog of The Steakhouse , that's 1 restaurant I'd really love to try . I hope it does open again at some point. ) x

I was there for the first time last June. The mozzarella sticks are really good! I really enjoyed the steak sauce as well 🤤

Everything definitely tastes better with mayo... but I just can't get on board with the mayo you often get in France as it's wayyy too mustard-y for my liking!!

I quite agree! I think I've lowkey gotten used to the French mustardy mayo over the years, but defo prefer it plain! x

You’ve never been to a Musuem? Did I hear that correctly… If that’s true we need a vlog of you going to a Musuem in London. They are divine. Been to London once and I had to drag my husband to the nearest Museum. I think if you go your mind will be blown away, at least I take that from the reaction you got seeing these paintings. And watching this video makes me wanna go there.

Haha nooo I’ve been to countless museums and love them! Maybe you misheard or I might have said something too fast 🥴 I love visiting museums and art exhibitions in London regularly and do the same when I visit new cities. I like the idea of maybe vlogging my next museums trips though - just not sure how practical it may be, as a lot of museums and galleries don’t allow filming inside x

Mayonnaise is life, as someone who spends a lot of time if France do you prefer Hellmans or a brand like Benedicta? King Ludwig's has always been one of my favourite places to go in Disney, my family would go for lunch as it was so much cheaper than the park food. The dauphemoise potatoes are excellent!

Its a shame they removed the most delicious dishes from the menu. The food is mainly international now and not german..for me not worth the visit anymore
