As the winter is coming if you want to travel comfortable, keep travel southern part of China. Hainan would be good place to escape cold to a tropical island in winter. Or you would like experience winter scenery to Yunnan Jade Dragon Mountain and Sichuan Jiuzhaigou to see unique view on this earth.
yesterday, i came across a video and it said china has banned christmas. i am glad to have watched this video to confirm china has not banned christmas. love from canada.
As a Chinese live in Waterloo, Canada, I can confirm 95% of the news on CBC & CNN about China are fake. Welcome to China my brother, you gonna enjoy it!
@@geli978I heard it too, some city councils banned their staff to celebrate it at work. But seems this year that is no longer a concern 😂 didn’t see any complaints on china social media like last year.
it's too crowded, I have been there, you need to spend more to buy express ticket, otherwise queue for hours. anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it, really like kids, screaming and other stuff lol I really miss Shanghai now
I admire your courage! He also held a camera while riding the speed light wheel! Salute to you! I didn't take anything, I just held on tightly, feeling like I was about to fall off. . . stay safe and enjoy in our country 🎉
Shanghainese here. Noooo, please no! You have traveled cross half of the planet to come here, and you deserve much more than a Disneyland in China. Try start from some of below spots in this city. 1) Xin Tian Di on Tai Cang Road; 2) citywalk along Wu Kang Road and An Fu Road, or along Ju Lu Road, Fu Min Road and Chang Le Road; 3) Christmas Markets on Yuan Ming Yuan Road; 4) Columbia Circle on Yan An Xi Road; 5) Zhu Jia Jiao Ancient Town; 6) Xu Jia Hui (Catholic Church, park, bookstore, mall)
The Disney park looks so cool. I recommend you to go to Thames Town in Shanghai, which is very similar like the town in the UK. There are also Tianzifang and Xintiandi. There are many street bars, much like Princes Street in Edinburgh.
I wouldn't recommend. Thames Town is like a failed replication experiment. Where they come from, is where the authentic Thames is, the English vibes thrown in.
great fun at Shanghai Disneyland, you can visit Shanghai Tower and yuyuan garden at night, its beautiful, next visit universal studios Beijing, then Yangshuo, Shenzhen and harbin for ice festival
I live in Philippines We did Hong Kong Disneyland in March. Should we do Shanghai or Disneyland in the USA obviously we should do Shanghai and Tokyo.which we do at some point but Shanghai is the next closest and the flights will be cheaper as only right 3 hours and a half. Maybe we might do that in 3rd or 4th week in September or should we pay a bit more money and do Disneyland and Disney California adventure as well?
My recommendation is, Shanghai - Hangzhou - Nanjing - Qingdao - Beijing. These are the most representative cities in China. They are all clean, safe and full of characteristics.
Awesome! But you missed two things, the mega epic fireworks show in the Castle (probably you left too early?), and also forgot to film ¨The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh¨ proving once and for all to your friends back home that the yellow bear is NOT banned in China. 😁🖖
Should try eat some local specialities like shanghai soup dumplings (xiaolongbao), pan fried pork buns (sheng jiang bao), and scullion flatbread. PS. Do be careful hot soup (temperature wise) inside the soup dumplings.
not open to the general public yet, but I have been there on a special pass and invite from the staff at Disney. Its quite small and only has one mediocre ride(similar to the pirate ride) and sells oversized donuts and ice cream which are overpriced of course....its disney.
@@Alan_and_Shannon You should try KFC and McDonald's in China, or even Pizzahut. Compared with the original cheap and single version, they are totally two worlds. Although they are still fast food, China's menus and patterns are huge.
