Thank you to all the men and women who have served our country. This Veterans day Disneyland did an amazing ceremony to thank all those who served. All the Cast Members who have served were honored. Each branch was honored.
Wow, I am so thankful Disney did this. This is not something I thought they would do especially to this extent. My heart is filled with joy and pride 🥲🇺🇸🙏🏼
Thank you to those who served in the Military thank you so Much for what you guys do to keep us all safe and fight to defend us all . Thank you very Much .
I got very emotional watching this video. My father served in W W 2 the Korean conflict and in Panama during there conflict. So much is owed to our veterans for there service. Thank you for bringing us this video.
We try to watch the lowering of the flag ceremony every chance we get, but this was extraordinary. A great tribute to those who serve our country through military commitment. Thank you for posting.
Goosebumps!! What a wonderful way to honor our veterans. I already get choked up at the flag ceremony - seeing all those CMs marching down Main Street would’ve sent me over the edge. Great video, thanks!
I may have my gripes with how this country is run in modern times, and I’m against blind patriotism, and the brutality of war, but it’s still important to me to honor those who have served. I think of my great grandfather who nearly lost his life in combat in Okinawa, fighting for his wife and baby daughter to be able to live in a safe world again. As much as we make mistakes as a nation, I still find myself able to be proud of this country. This is truly a beautiful celebration of our American spirit. Just lovely.
Shame. We don't have that kind of ceremony in our DLP. Looks really meaningful That's okay, French Anthem is much more Pompeous and Thrilling to hear A huge respect to those veterans. Thanks for their services towards their Fatherland 🇺🇸 From your First and Oldest Ally. And helped you getting your Independance 🇫🇷
Thank you for posting. I was unable to get out to see this special celebration. I could hear from backstage and my hope was I would find it on RU-vid. Of course it would be Provost Park Pass one of my favorites to watch. I cried all the way through this. My father was a Navy veteran From WW2 and my Father in Law a Navy Pilot during the Korean War. I love that Disney continues to honors our Military. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve!
My late dad was in the Air Force. Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio. He drove a truck for them. His 1st flight on a plane(after he'd left the service) was National Airlines in 1973 to Los Angeles. I spent my 1st summer from Houston, TX. with my "play Aunt" That was my 1st trip to Disneyland @ aged 6. You also get misty eyed when the flag comes down before dusk at the park. I've seen that before. Also folded a flags several times after a fireworks is display. The Flag should NEVER touch the ground.
I served never wanted a thank you joined and deployed during war. I have been so thankful for theses videos it's like therapy. I would do it again. You make the best videos. Thank you and your family.
@@provostparkpassthank you so much you don't even know. My self and my daughter watch when we get together, you and your family are such amazing people it's amazing we can all connect in a way i appreciate it I really do, don't stop. You your family help so much. Your video walking in the park at night and you said you matter and you are loved. Is when I realized I can be better with all my flaws . So thank you for helping me.
my uncle was there, everytime he goes, he goes to the flag retreat and made it a point to go for the veterans day ceremony. when i'm at disneyland for the flag retreat i go up to the flag sometimes with the other vets in honor of my dad. or at least i try to go get up to the flag, by the end of the day when the flag retreat starts its tough for me to get up, heck its amazing i can even get back to the car lol
Amazing video Chris! My grandfather was a veteran serving in the Korean War. He flew aircraft during that time and everyone around him was shot while he survived. Thank you to all the men and women who continue to serve our country!!
Wow! That was amazing and emotional 😢 at the same time. Nothing like a brass band playing those songs.🎉Army - Navy - Air Force - Marines - Coast Guard🇺🇸
A big thank you to all veterans for your service. And Chris you did an amazing job. Gives me goosebumps every time I see this retreat. This one was even better!!!
Thank you Chris for sharing this. I sure hope someday I will be a cast member there and be able to participate in this. You are awesome and this sure brings a tear to my eye. This was one of the best time of my life, to proudly serve our country.
I have particpated in the daily flag retreat they do at DL and I encourage any servicemember past pr present to participate on your next visit..it gave me goose bumps to be out there infront of all these wonderful, admiring people with other people that have chewed on the same turf as you. It was an honor to be..honored in this way.
I usually do not comment on anything ever, but I am so glad that you recorded this. I am home alone due to my husband being gone on deployment and two of my sons being stationed far away. It is nice to see that the sacrifices our family has made for the last 28 years are still appreciated and we are hoping to be able to reunite our family in Disney World in September!
Hi Chris.... this is Alex. It was great to meet you at this beautiful ceremony (my Dad was a WW2 US Army vet and passed away exactly 1 year ago last Veterans Day so this was super special to me). Sorry if my fat head and hand got in your shot a few times. Thanks for being there to cover this for those that couldn't witness it. See you on the Interwebs! Hi to Amanda and Miles!
Thank you for posting. As a veteran, I've always appreciated that Disney recognizes those who are or have served every single day. This ceremony was great. Really liked seeing the Disney cast that served and the fireworks.
Thanks for the video Chris. It was Awesome. Didn't know Disney did that. Thanks to all who served to keep us safe.🇺🇸 Thanks to my Dad. Also, to my Uncle who lost his life in WWII for our freedom.❤
Thanks to all who have served in our US Military without you I wouldn’t have the freedom I have today also all veterans need to be treated with all the respect back here at home by making sure they get all the benefits they need what ever it my be and no one should every try to take any of the necessary benefits provided away like the politicians that try to stop these benefits from happening so yes the great men and women of the Military deserve it all and then sum god bless you all now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Chris and Amanda and I’ll see you on the next awesome Provost Park Pass adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
Thank you for sharing that ceremony. It was beautiful! I found the video while I was sitting with my disabled brother post-breakfast and the last song made him laugh (that's how he expresses his happiness). He's not super expressive, but music always has a way of bringing it out, especially when it makes him happy.
Thank you for showing us this. My husband and are both Navy Veterans. I will make sure to us one of of military tickets days to go on Veterans Day now.
“May the United States endure through the generations.” Boy, isn’t that ever true as it is right now. Especially with democracy being tested in the US and around the world. Thanks to all the veterans! Also, the Disneyland Band sounded amazing! With only about 16 musicians, they sound like they’re a band of about 50. The Dapper Dans really should stop singing legato whenever singing with the band, though.
AAAAHHHHH !!!! ME AND THE HUBBY COME OUT ON THIS VIDEO !! were famous lol ! Honestly was SUCH A EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE I WAS HOLDING NOT TO UGLY CRY THE WHOLE TIME! Also were FAMILIES WITH PICTURES OF FALLEN BRAVE FAMILY MEMBERS THAT PROTECTED THIS COUNTRY to honor them was such a sweet tribute! THANK YOU ALL THE WOMEN AND MEN THAT SERVE THIS COUNTRY !! PS: we were on the look out for you all day too, guess we didn't look hard enough ! thank you for all the videos and tips friend!!!!!!
Thanks so much for sharing this, Chris! I watch the Flag Retreat Ceremony at least once every trip...and my eyes leak a little every time. I've never seen it on Veteran's Day, so this was great!
I love how my branch was the last. Save the best for last right? Lol they didn't even acknowledge the space force though. But all in all this is always a great ceremony to be at.
I do believe the space force still falls under the ultimate command of the air force, and technically the coast guard doesn’t fall under DOD anymore it’s now part of DHS same as border patrol
I would like to say ty to all thoughts serving now and that have served God bless and stay safe and keep on protecting us ty to my uncle warren army uncle Gary navy and my cousin Steven army and all my friends that are serving and all of eagle scouts from troop 273 from Harper woods Michigan that are serving still God bless and ty
We were there that day! I was looking for you that day and wanted to say hi. I looked for you for three days. I was talking to my family about your channel 😍
I was sad not to see Ernie "Gunny" Napper there. He single-handedly revived the flag retreat ceremony, and Disneyland took his role as the announcer away. I was a cast member and have spoken with Ernie, and he is a good person. That they took his role away in a ceremony that he revived just seems wrong.
As a Veteran myself, I'm so happy to see that Disney's 'wokeness' has not interfered in still holding a nice Veteran's Day celebration. Makes me so happy!
