yes. some ppl are smart and can be told they are smart and make it work . . . but some ppl who are not smart can be told they are smart and be put to failure harder. People have to know what they really are. Telling a turnip that it has blood will result in an empty turnip with just a bunch of needle holes and no blood. Hi: tldr: you can't get blood out of somethign that has no blood, even if you tell it that it has blood. Now, which one is your son? Don't risk disillusioniing him if it turns out that you are just lying to him. That would be cruel and unconscionable

That’s my home NOCC been working at Disneyland almost 5 years I’ve worked in every land as you have seen me in different costumes including recently at main entrance. I am always amazed when I learn more secrets about Disneyland and I always tell our guests to watch your videos so that they can experience and enjoy Disneyland from a different perspective. I love the the drum that says "Firefly Five Plus Lou". It's a great Disneyland deep cut to the early animator's Jazz band "Firehouse 5 Plus Two" that would often perform at Disneyland in the 1950s.

One thing I'll never get is all the people who say Disneyland food isn't good. Are they eating at the wrong places? Every time I go to the parks, I feel like the food I have is amazing. I think this video is proff that Disneyland is going above and beyond with their food.

For all that is holy... give the people some examples of the amazing food for everyone to seek out and try! I'll start with a few of my favorites: 1) "Pepperoni Pizza Flopover" at Cafe Daisy, 2) Fried Chicken Plate at Plaza Inn, 3) Breakfast Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters, 4) Fuzzy Tauntaun (with Buzz Cloud) at Oga's Cantina, 5) Trandoshan-style Pasta with Braised Bantha at Docking Bay 7, 6) Scallops (off the menu) at Carthay Circle, 7) Frickin' EVERYTHING at Napa ROSE. 😁

I’m glad I’m not the only one who keeps thinking it’s Place and not Palace. I was a glasses-less 12 year old when I first saw Princess and the frog so I really didn’t even realize the sign is different in the closing scene until they announced this restaurant lol

I loved the Princess and the Frog movie when it first came out, happy that it’s a hit now. I am unsure If I will get to Disneyland again, but I do remember 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, it was a walkthrough experience, and thank you for sharing that same beautiful organ plays on in the Haunted Mansion. Warms my heart, and you boost me up in every video you post along with your sweet family.

I'm excited because if we're being real here, "Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen" at Downtown Disney was really mismanaged & going downhill badly over the last decade & it's New Orleans style food was some of my favorite. NOW, the revitalized Downtown Jazz Kitchen that replaced it is quite good... and it will require selling a kidney to eat there because everything is $30-$40/dish & stupidly priced. Their Gumbo is $28. Their Jambalaya is $34. I'm curious as to how

@@kurtshintaku6866 In 2005 we were married and had our reception at The Jazz Kitchen. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves on the Saturday night before Easter that year. So it is (was?) a special place to us. We remain the only couple that ever did that and for years everyone knew us. I am sad at the generic make-over of it. Even the wonderful Jazz room with a live jazz band (the namesake of the restaurant) is now just a plain-Jane dining room. We have talked about going back to eat there just to see if it any good, but with the entire theming all gone, it will never be the same to us. I do know Ralph Brennan himself is still the owner and was in on the re-design, I just don’t understand why.

I love your pointing out details. It looks lovely, and I’ve read that there will be the sounds of New Orleans jazz emanating from there. The Firefly Five Plus Lou is a callback to The Firehouse Five Plus Two, which was a band in the 40’s & 50’s formed by members of the Disney Animation Department. They played at company parties and Disneyland. Walt stipulated one condition, that they could not fully surrender their day jobs.

The shrimp and grits at Cafe Orleans was my absolute favorite dish at Disneyland, but they only had it occasionally. I’m hoping that they are as good at Tiana’s (they should be, they are prepared in the same kitchen under New Orleans Square). I’ll be trying them Sunday.

Hey Chris, my friend- Thanks so much for the sneak peek at Tiana's Palace! The interior looks really beautiful, what I love about is the french art on the ceiling and the "gazebo" style idea. If I get the chance to experience this place, I'm going to get andouille sausage in a meal. One fact about that decorative picture that said "Firefly Five Plus Lou", that is a tribute to the band, Firehouse Five Plus Two. They were a band that performed a lot of shows in Disneyland way back in the day.

Back in 2019 we went to New-Orleans with my job, as a holiday party. I'm not a drinker so I didn't expect much from it but it was actually a lot of fun! We went to the place where they make the Mardis Gras floats and it was really cool! They do a guided tours and you can see how they sculpt them and the massive floats and they also make objects for advertisement. They have an aquarium and a paddle boat we didn't do, we took a private boat tour in the bayou (it was December so we didn't see any gators, but we saw a wild hog and the boat place had a rescued snapper turtle in a tank, and we saw a Christmas parade on the way back) and we ate mufellata sandwichs and it was DELICIOUS! I don't even like olives normaly! We went to this historic jazz place where they have like four rows of benches in a tiny room and cushions on the ground and you're super close to the musicians. They also a massive war museum with like multiple buildings. Had a Banana Foster cheesecake, jambalaya, pralines, and I even tried gator nuggets! It was a good time, I'd recommend a visit if you've never been.
