I participated in the last 2 tests. My number 1 complaint with the combat was the unclear UI for the enemies. They haven't changed it for 2 years. No idea why. They know it's an issue because they always ask if this is a problem in their rest surveys.
true. it should be a gauge at the side, also the character stack system i.e. graces bullets, nicoles bullet, and in the future, zhu yuans ether buckshots
I have a Grace Piper team in my head but im missing my third ingredient. maybe im crazy but i may be on the verge of greatness here Edit: I have found out that you can "pre charge" an anomaly when an enemy already has an anomaly. If you for instance shock an enemy you can keep filling the shock anomaly, which doesnt really do much further once the enemy is already shocked, but if you trigger a disorder on that enemy, you can almost instantly trigger a a follow up disorder. In that case you would with shock: trigger shock, fill the anomaly bar up again, disorder (other element), disorder (shock), which can allow you to really quickyl do A LOT of dmg. I used piper and grace in my testing and was able to shock the enemies, disorder them with piper, pre charge assault, disorder them trough shock and instantly disorder that shock with piper again, for about 70k-90k dmg on a level 50 mob with an unbuilt piper and garbage built grace. Mind you this sequence took at most about 15 seconds to do with zero energy on both piper and grace
I remember the first time I noticed I triggered disorder. I thought it was crit and got really confused.. went back to the tutorials and it all clicked. “Mono element” teams are gonna fall out of fashion sooner rather than later
Great info. This is the kind of gameplay breakdown I was looking for. The game throws a lot of stuff at you all at once and sometimes you can't tell what's the most important things you should be paying attention to and building towards.
6:15 you can absolutely increase anomaly mastery with drive discs-it is an available primary attribute for slot #6, while anomaly proficiency is available on #4.
This seems similar to break in HSR. The capability for a lot of damage at once, but no proper utilization until we see units with kits that focus on it. Its definitely something to buld towards over time
If only this icon that shows the element was bigger, or somewhere in the corner of the screen. I hope over time I will intuitively find the right amount of damage to cause for the disorder, overwise it will be stressful for my eyes. Thanks for the guide!
NIcole is great for buildup as her orb brings everyone together and then you can smash down with either Shock or Burn. you can trigger disorder pretty well.
Very interesting. From what I understand, Disorder dont scale on Proficiency and just speed up the number of anomaly generated. So its still a big anomaly DPS gain especially for dot (burn/shock/corrosion), because you do the whole dot in a instant and go to an other anomaly. Anomalies are calculated independently from the proficiency of thier characters and disorder just trigger dmg instantly and said :"next!". Disorder is not a classic boost dmg by increasing multipliers but by shorten the time needed to apply dot dmg. Hmm this seems tasty, I will try to build 3 anomaly characters team spamming disorders or 2 ano + 1 support (grace/rina/nicole).
This video is perfect for me, I've been playing and always wondered how to trigger assault/shock/disoriented ( since it does so much damage) thanks for the explaination
Razor language : disorder like Mona burst bubble without bonus dmg omen, Just like.. Bennet apply pyro (burn Anomaly build) - Mona burst (assault build)- trigger vapo with another pyro (disorder trigger, hit big number)...
Seems viable, kinda like EM builds in Genshit. For people confused, in ZZZ, burn, shock, assault, etc, aren’t considered reactions but anomaly debuffs instead. And the only reaction in the game is disorder and its triggered by applying two different anomaly debuffs on the target at the same time.
corruption is not reaction? ether+shock. Been playing it since the release. Thats why i dont jump on mono team bandwagons at least some of the ytubers posted about it. im very surprised that its like no one dont know about it its like someone is gatekeeping this content creator to make a video about anomaly reactions. Been getting 25k-30k bonus dmg coz of reactions. There's Jolt too but i dont explore more since i thought it was just a "buff" in Hollow game mode.
@@gogachaplay corruption is simply the anomaly debuff of ether, it has nothing to do with shock. Electric = Shock Physical = Assault Ice = Freeze + Frostbite Fire = Burn Ether = Corruption Those are the anomaly debuffs, and by mixing any two you get the disorder effect.
Good to know! I thought it was like Vaporize/Melt in Genshin (where the one that triggers deals the damage), but good to know it's the other way around, and that being fast is important. And that double Anomaly seems good. Right now, the possible teams focused on Disorder are basically Grace and Piper then? Then probably we could put a Stunner like Koleda for Grace's skill and to stun enemies to increase damage as well. Seems fun, honestly! Thank you for the video! There are so much to explore in this game, I'm looking forward to it!
I find this mechanic really fun to play with. My main team is Piper, Grace and Rina and juggling between ailments and triggering Disorder successfully is incredibly satisfying 🔥 (also shock seems to work well for me particularly because of Grace)
A thing i haven't figured out is how the damage of the burn tick works. Because when i tried to apply burn, the amount of damage each tick deals isn't the same depending of what kind of attack i used to build up the fire gauge even though i use the same character.
I heard that the ether works like electricity. It is activated for incoming damage. But if electricity has a trigger cooldown of 1 second, then ether has 0.5 seconds.
Jakazin you're killing it with ZZZ content. While others are doing baity shit videos of quitting and bad game, you're actually making GOOD CONTENT. Thank you for the awesome videos you deserve a lot more traffic on your channel! :) Great video thank you.
I'm thinking one stun, two anomaly characters should make an interesting team. The two anomaly characters can build off each other for disorder, while the stun character staggers. e.g. Anby, Grace, Piper?
Disorder essentially procs all of your 1st anomaly status effect dmg instantly. Therefore I believe burn that normally has 8 ticks of dmg, naturally has a bigger disorder damage (compared to other elemental effects like assault which does a single tick of dmg). As a side note, I hope that’s not the case. I feel like all elements should be equally or nearly equally as strong for disorder effect, only allowing raw stats decide what’s best for dmg. Maybe they made burn better for disorders, since burn characters usually have to wait for their anomaly dmg as the effect ticks 8 times, and is essentially slower at killing enemies. So they balanced it by disorder from burn having better numbers.
Been doing alot of this kinda blind... Ended up doing Lucy/piper/grace using piper and grace back and forth. With counters it really starts to pop off and Lucy even jumps in occasionally causing procs. Kinda on the fence because I could change gears and replace grace with nekomata for a physical team but disorder has been a blast to play around
hmm what happens if you proc Burn and then proc Corruption/Shock? Would the Anomaly Disorder be one big number like if you were to proc it with Assault?
@@luipaardprint thank you for clarifying that. Will test it out to see if I can get disorder to proc with 2 elements while stunning to daze then. Should hopefully allow more easy consecutive disorders if the enemy can't move while dazed. I wonder if a multi element stun team - Anby, Lycaon, Koleda would just rack up stun while allowing for disorder to proc off of each of them when timed correctly.
Something is confusing, do you need to avoid triggering the 1st anomaly for it to proc as disorder when using 2nd anomaly? That's gonna be hard to see and control
no, it make easier to proc disorser but in real battle yes it's hard to control. easy way is enemy can't take 2 anomaly effect so the first become disorder
It seems like you and another content creator oofie and also tectone and sol and iyo are the only ones that really appreciate this game and think it has a bright future ahead like I do I’m glad all of you cover this game and love it especially when lately it feels like they’re is nothing but hate for this game
I just start playing and got Soldier 11 and Piper, do you recommend me buying the f2p Lucy in the shop or just wait for the Bear that i think they give us free later in story? Thanks for the detail videos and greetings from Mexico homie 🇲🇽🤙🏾
Lucy makes ur team do more damage and is important for letting piper get her team buff. Nothing really too difficult pre 30 after that if u don’t have Lucy I would buy her for the team
No where in the game can i have easy access to Ailment and Disorder explanation. Like what is the difference between each element ? Enemy get debuff, but there is no indication whatsoever ??? ZZZ is young so i understand it but they have a lot of work to do
a question I have if it basically bundles all of that dot into a single instance, is there really a reason to bother triggering it, couldn't you just like wait it out for the whole dmg, which you attack with another character? why trigger disorder except for big screenshot numbers
So that you don’t have to wait for the DoT. Maybe if you retrigger burn while it’s already burning it’ll just refresh the duration. It might be better to just triggering it all + another anomaly.
How calculating DOT dmg? Which stat i need to max? Atk? or just anomaly bonus? Champion lvl affects to anomaly dmg? Like break in hsr scaling by lvl? W-drive lvl affect to anomaly dmg?
How would a grace, ellen, and rina team work for this, i have grace and rina, and im 60 pulls from a guaranteed ellen since i failed the 50/50 when i got rina
This system is really clunky in comparison to Genshin's reactions. Too many variables. Here you do not need reaction-buffers as the same crit-stats and enemy-debuffs apply to the formula. And you still need to stun the enemy for that juicy buff. What differentiates Piper as Anomaly char from others is her AoE during her Spin and an easy buff to stun-appliers I do not think that preparation work for triggering Disorder is an intended gameplay. IMO Anomaly character in the team should enable the same conditions for damage amplification as dedicated Supports or Stunners, but with the variability in an applied status: DoT, more Crit, more Stun, freeze It is because supports right now are giving buffs only to one character, or apply a debuff for everyone to utilize (but it is short, unless you get C1 Rina(like me :P )), so you cannot utilize it for Anomaly Disorder!
So if I understand correctly, best idea to use anomaly disorder, would be to have combination of characters from fire and ether (and possibly shock as you said) and just trigger it constantly... Does the new anomaly stays after it triggers disorder? As in, if I build up fire anomaly and trigger disorder with ether, can I get to building up fire to trigger anomaly from ether to fire to trigger disorder again? (if we would have characters with huge build up this could be crazy good)
You fill an element bar and trigger anomaly once it's 100% -> then you trigger second anomaly by reaching 100% on coresponding element -> stacking of two anomaly activations gives you Disorder So you need to do preparations for it every time, considering how fast current available characters build their element bar
@@jeanwinter5275 could you trigger a second disorder on a third anomaly? I'm thinking something like 1. Piper assault anomaly 2. Soldier 11 burn anomaly (trigger disorder, burn is still ticking) 3. Piper assault anomaly (trigger 2nd disorder) That rotation assumes I can trigger Piper's second anomaly before burn disappears. Or maybe even use grace for a 3rd element so you can go anomaly build 99% on 3 different elements Or does the 2nd anomaly disappear/not count for the 2nd disorder trigger?
Does the game actually tells you that the first anomaly doesnt disappear? If they did then i definitely didnt pay attention but if they dont then its kinda annoying since what ive been doing to proc disorder was to first build up the first anomaly all the way so it procs (burn) then switch and try to build another anomaly(ether) but by the time im done building the ether anomaly the first anomaly would be gone so it was kinda hard to proc disorder
That's not the anomaly bar, that's the daze bar, it goes rainbow to tell you that the next combo is gonna start the chain attack. It goes grey when you exhaust all the chain attacks available for you
Maybe not better atm, but when we get more anomaly agents and different kit variety that promote different gameplay, probably will be equally as viable.
I didn't quite get it, is just between fire and physical? Or other "elements" also work? How is this found out just now and not in one of the many CB? And what are the chances there is some kind of double dipping and it will be fixed?
Disorder works with all elements. But it is easier to use a dot anomaly like electro, fire or ether and any other to have enough time to trigger disorder.
You need to use physical together with any of the dots (fire, electro, corruption), thats the op disorder. Because physical doesn’t have a dot it procs assault which is a big damage number AND disorder on top of that. So you basically get an extra big number together with assault for free, thats what makes it op. Burn or shock for example doesn’t do any initial damage it’s just a dot so triggering disorder on those gives nothing other than making the dot damage appear instantly. So it’s not any extra damage for them you just get the damage faster if that makes sense. tldr: you need to use physical together with another for it to be op.
I got trolled so hard by the game. I was using Lucy and Piper since the beggining so I wanted S11 to make that team, rushed my second 5* standard and got S11.....W-ENGINE! AT 70 pitty F... me.
Why are you surprised? I liked it very much, this game has a soul, the drawings and characters are very nice, and although Genshin and Honkaiyd are similar, they are not exactly the same and this makes it beautiful
