​@@crazyray610Yep. 4th one in California is a felony and usually mandatory prison time with an 18 month sentence. Sitting in county jail gives you 1 day in for 1 day off for good time. So if you prolong court say 3 months from time of arrest and sentencing you've knocked off 6 months already. Then a week later you're in a state prison reception where you can wait up to 3 months and that's straight time until you get to mainline and see the committee, which decides if you're charges will give you 66 ⅔, 50 or 15% off for every day served in mainline. This all depends on your charges and what your points add up to. DUI is considered nonviolent so you will either get half time or if your points are really low, 1/3 time. Factors are dependent on things like are you gang affiliated, have a place to live , parents and family still in your life, did you have prior prison time ect. If you are sentenced to Federal prison you must do no less than 85% of your sentence. So reasonably a 2 year sentence could only mean 8 to 10 months in prison. Most of this came into effect due to prison overcrowding and Fed Cap laws. Plus a disproportionate amount of people in prison for small drug offences that could be better served in a drug or alcohol rehab facility instead. Because the saying is mostly true that prison only makes better criminals.

And they won't be hurt at all, so many times an accident is fatal for the person the drunk driver hits... Yet the driver is unscathed...

I agree. I have epilepsy I have complex focal seizures. seizures are exhausting. I hate people who fake seizures.

i've a mate who suffers with epilepsy & i agree its horrible & scary for every1. he's always embarrassed an' all thru no fault of his own & we're both in our 50s. peace

I don't know about you, of course, but I have grand maul seizures and I will tell you what, if you don't know, those hurt and take all energy out of you in a couple of minutes.

It’s not the courts. Blame the lawmakers who take money from the hospitality and alcohol/liquor industries to loosen these laws.

@@nycatlady2314 Indeed, the laws need to be changed, But the courts are overly lenient with the laws we do have, far too many plea deals!

@@suzannevega2289 there should be no deals for violent offenses, I agree. What’s happening now is that they’re trying to correct the over-incarceration problem we had by going too far the other way. I hope they find the middle soon.

When I watch these it makes me realize that I'm so glad I stopped doing drugs and drinking when I was 20, and never got tattoos all over myself like a smelly degenerate.😂

If it was his 1st DUI they would not believe him. Since it is his 8th he is a moron to even think they would consider it. My wife was killed by one of these guys. That person tried to deny guilt as well. That alcohol face is a dead giveaway.

Aint delt with any have you theres a bunch of theves and drug dealers around where I live that have the same last name I do I get hasseld all the time because of it and I don't even know the people who cause the problems try it some time it gets realy old

Nicole is an amazing Officer. She doesn't molly coddle the belligerent criminals, eventually the criminal starts to come around. You do whatcha got to do.

Yeah….you don’t have a seizure and then come to and say “I just had a seizure”. That’s a dead giveaway. You can have “pseudo-seizures” which is basically just a nice way to say you’re faking it.

​@@AlaFrigginBama pseudo seizures are NOT people consciously faking seizures..it's actually a real medical condition and the proper name for it is psychogenic non epileptic seizures..it's a real seizure disorder its just that the seizures are not caused by electrical activity in the brain and have other causes(anxiety,stress,head injury etc). A good portion of people with epilepsy will also suffer from non epileptic seizures as well..there's been studies showing there's an overlap.."pseudo seizures" is actually an old,outdated and no longer acceptably used term

I have seizures too. Tonic clonic with an aura. I always lose consciousness. My last one though I had an aura and slight twitching but never lost consciousness. I think it was just a partial one that time. It is the scariest experience. I literally feel like I am going to die before I lose consciousness and it’s terrifying because there is nothing I can do to stop it. I wouldn’t wish that feeling on anyone and for this guy to sit here and fake it just makes me so angry. I am so sorry you have to go through seizures as well. I hope you are doing okay now. @@charismaholder My occasional seizures don't really frighten me except when one happens in public. And If I lose consciousness, it's even worse. It's very upsetting to be out among people one moment, then surrounded by police and EMTs once you regain your bearings. This has happened to me 5 times. Luckily, nobody ever tried to rob me in the middle of a seizure. The worst part is not being able to drive.

@@davemathews7890 I agree with you on the seizures happening in public. It’s very overwhelming for me to be okay one minute then wake up with EMT’s around me the next. I’m glad no one has ever taken advantage of you during one like you said. What a horrible thing for someone to do. It just really makes my heart hurt.

@@charismaholder I live in a big city so there's always a chance of someone taking advantage. But people are instead always really concerned and helpful. On two occasions, people called 911 about me and once a nurse stepped forward to help until the EMTs came.

Listen I’m a nurse and I’ll be honest- there ARE different types of seizures. There is something called an absent seizure where you can space out and become unresponsive. BUT, I don’t think this guy had a seizure. First of all… he’s drunk/tipsy. That’s a central nervous system depressant (aka a downer). Do you know what else is? Ativan (also a down). Do you know what we give to stop seizures? And to help with alcohol withdrawal? ATIVAN! It’s possible to have a seizure while drunk (esp if you’re an alcoholic who withdrawals with alcohol in your system), but it’s very unlikely Also, his symptoms aren’t that absent seizure. Someone having an absent seizure usually looks like someone spacing out in class. They’re eyes are fixed no matter what you do. Sometimes the eyes can even develop a “glaze” to them. Literally think of a glaze donut, the eyes can look like that. Afterward they may not even know they had one… they’ll just be a bit “foggy” and drowsy after it. He freaking made duck face/did the smolder, looked across the room (people’s eyes can move in other type of seizures, but this was not it. It’s usually more than once and rapid), and he like jerked himself awake like he wasn’t paying attention in class and got caught when he came out of the seizure?? And remembered he had one instantly??? Not a thing. That’s how they knew he was faking it.

I was given medicine that made me feel lousy for 3 days...on the 4th day..I went blank...found out I had a grand mal seizure...fell flat on my face broke 4 teeth...and didnt know it until I was in a hospital.....

I know you don't want sympathy however my heart goes out to you. How long do your seizures last and how long until you're back on your feet? I ask because my adult daughter has severe non epileptic clonic tonic seizures. Hers last all day the vomiting lasts for hours. Depending on how many she has in a day the longer she takes to recover. I'm upset that someone would despicably have the cheek to fake one. Nobody knows or understands the pain from the muscles after a seizure except those poor people who suffer

What's crazy is that is how many times he's been caught. Think about how often he must be driving drunk to get nailed 8 times for it.
