Your explanation is quite well as compare to any other. Well please let me know if white blood cells is very low & platlet is at 1300 which should be around 400 max....What should i adopt the natural procedure to overcome this ....M trying to findout the best possible solution
Doc is blowing me off saying low wbc numbers mean almost nothing in Blacks because we are "different". Basically had to beg for a blood panel. Livid. Why don't they listen to us?
I hear you man. This can be a challenging issue. So there are two parts to my thoughts on this. Part 1 - Research does indicate that healthy black patients often have lower average white blood cell counts compared to other groups. In fact, my white blood cell count is also on the lower end of the spectrum, but I'm a pretty healthy and health-conscious guy. So there could be some truth to your lower WBC count being normal. Part 2 - Regardless of what I said in Part 1, that shouldn't prevent your doctor from responding thoroughly to your concerns, especially if you have symptoms or if your WBC count is lower than your normal range. If you have new or worsening concerns, you should be heard and follow up is important. The reality is, it's YOUR health. And if you have concerns, you need to make sure to get the help you need even if you have to see another doctor. Those are my thoughts. I hope they're helpful.
@@InteractiveBiologysadly, doctors are now using this as a blanket statement to completely shut down patients concerns and factual findings, which is dangerous. Almost a form of gaslighting aka medical racism. Similar to, all black women have a high pain threshold, which we all know is nonsense. Yes, I agree, within healthy patients, it could be valid but not all black people are the same, and this specific point is the issue.
Four years ago , my blood tests were in normal ranges. Last spring , Took the 1st Moderma shot. I never had the viris, but have autoimune problems. My blood pressure went up and ny blood sugars were running 400 and 500. I believed I was dying for 2 monrhs. Found a 1/2 bottle of anticbotics and got better enought to see 2 docs.both of whom gave me more. Still not well my veins are messed up, and my blood work. My red blood cells are almost off the chart too high and white blood cells are at the bottom of the chart too low. I cannot get well. Water in inter ear, eyes ear problems. My hearing aids no longer work. Keep having to go to eye Docs. with eye infections, come and go with anticboctics. Does anyone know how to fix this?

My neutrophil is low, Basophil, monocytes and lymphocytes are high. My doctor told me I have a virus going on, he told me to take 3000mg Omega 3, calcium and Magnesium every day for 3 months and then repeat the blood work to see if they would go back to normal.. But I have this problem if I smell any chemical or bad smell my body begins to hurt and I get real nauseous and feel like I am shutting down.. Do you have any idea what could have caused this problem or what to do?
I also have low white blood cell count. From my experience if I consistently eat oranges, drink lemon water or eat pineapple then my white blood cell count increases slightly. However, if I don't eat the citrus fruits my white blood cell count decreases. The same is true for getting enough calcium. We absolutely have to consume the daily recommended value of Vitamin C and Calcium to see any increase in our white cells blood count. I recommend that you Goggle your question. Read everything that involves increasing your WBC. Get as many blood test as you can to monitor your count. In the mean time stay safe.
HIV will usually cause a decrease in White Blood Cells, especially CD4+. But a secondary infection or complication related to HIV can SOMETIMES lead to leukocytosis. Hope that helps.
Question:could leukocytosis be caused by mental problems too?I have anxiety/panic attacks and I took antidepressants for 6 months. Also I take an aspirin daily, could this also be a cause?Due to my panic attacks, I'm extremely afraid that I could have something dangerous, like cancer.I mention that my leukocytes are 11,4.Also I plan to see a doctor soon, but unfortunately I can't right know
Husband wbc 1.1 and neutrophils .5. All tests, including bone marrow, no signs of leukemia. Hemotologist is perplexed and now wants to send him to a "specialist" because he can't figure it out. Any thoughts?

I had sinus surgery last April thinking it would help but I’m still trying to fight infections with breathing problems and weight gain. Yesterday my ent doctor mentioned I may have an immune disorder and my nose swob came back saying (Many WBC seen) what does that mean? Please advise me! Thank you for your time and help.

8 years ago my white blood cells were at 35,000 for probably 8 weeks and the bozo doctor I went to didn't know why or send me to a specialist or tell me that I might have something contagious. He just kept having me do blood tests every week. Eventually my white cells got down to 24,000 and another doctor from his clinic who I didn't know called me at 7:30 pm to let me she was concerned and I should be too. Eventually my white cells came down to 14,000, which is still high but never thought of changing doctors at that time.
I've got leukocytosis. 2016. I was not sick when my GP saw this in my blood work. She referred me to go to the hemotologist/ oncology. I'm basically stage zero. My blood is monitored every 3 months. They look for anything that is showing mutation. Possibly ( CLL) I'm still in the monitor blood. Anemic one time. My red cells went way low. Felt so horrible. Iron deficiency anemia. I got to transfusions ( iron) and thankfully that straightened that out. So I still monitor and I've had the COVID shots and flu and covid boosters. Also got covid twice once before the vaccines and then 8 months after my shots. When I got over covid at home thankfully, I went and got my booster and flu shots at the cancer center where they monitor my blood cells. So far still doing well. Fatigue is the worst part though.
I have very low WBC count i went to doctor to run extensive test and they said that the cell or system that makes the white blood is totally normal and it wasn't going to develop into anything. But it wasn't always like that can cell toxicity or cell inflammation cause that problem would really appreciate your help?

Hi Keilah. Thanks for your question. From what I understand, yes - if you're black, you tend to have lower white blood cell count in comparison to those of European Descent.

Question, did you do something to get them back into the normal range? I got a call saying mine are also 13 and my palette levels are 475. I’m going to see a specialist soon, but just curious.
@@sofi_773 My doctor said it might have been an isolated incident But I’m on the radar and she suggested another blood test in a few weeks Honestly I tried to destress and relax a lot because I was suspicious my count was higher than normal because of stress
Me too, but with me it was WBC 16.7 and 17,3 at the highest, also trombocytes were high and leukocytes and lymphocytes. First they said they found bad WBC maligne/ different bone marrow, Leukemia. I had to urgently go to hospital for tests. Than they said it was nothing serious. Can anyone/ doctor explain how that's possible. First saying we found malign cancer cells then saying nothing is wrong?
