Her case is too exaggerated at this point. Her crisis communication response was impeccable. She acknowledged her mistake, apologized for it to the public and to the original brands, while also deleting all videos and pictures that featured those items. She explained the situation by knowing her own faults and responsibilities. This wasn't even entirely her fault, I can imagine how difficult it is to distinguish original items from knockoffs. Anyway, this is how a professional PR organization would have responded in the case of an organizational crisis, so i'm very proud of Ji A for being so honest and working through this crisis while remembering the audience that her fans are her priority and not her pride as an influencer. I feel really sorry for her, she doesn't deserve this treatment.

The problem is that her reputations were built by her flexing branded stuff, so of course she will get backlash when people know it's fake. Actually 20 items were speculating to be fake but only 8/20were fake. She brought 500 items in total to authenticate and everything else was real. So technically 8/500 were fake, but 492/500 were real.

I really hope she gets active again on her vlogs… I like her not because she’s rich and all but because she actually has a good personality. It’s entertaining to watch. Life in Korea sucks right now. Wages are low/stagnant, housing is unreachable for most, job searching is hell for graduates, etc. So for many people; seeing someone who they think is pretending to be rich to get rich is dishonorable/off-putting to them.

I honestly understand her. I dont wear luxury brands or their counterfeit, but people always say I can make cheap item look expensive. And i really like that feeling when everyone thinks I'm wearing expensive clothes when in fact they're super cheap.
