We prefer national forest and BLM dispersed sites. For NF, make sure to get a copy of the MVUM (motor vehicle use map) they usually designate where dispersed camping is allowed. Stick to places where people have obviously camped before and tread lightly. Most of the spots in our videos are not going to be accessable due to snow right now...
