You can check the working voltage of the display, maybe it works at 5v instead of 3.3v.

@@ginengbimopamungkas8928 Actually, I was putting a 10k resistor between the wires and it was causing the issue, for those who want to use a 3.3v display like this you need to put a level shifter to reduce the voltage across the display. But if you use ESP32 you MUST connect it directly to the board without any resistors.
