In this brief video, I'm going to showcase the SQL Rollup Clause, and how we can use ROLLUP as an extension of the GROUP BY Clause to calculate subtotals and grand totals for a set of columns.
We'll create a table of product values by date & Country and work through a real example step by step.

I am in tension how to achieve total and subtotal in sql query. But this video make me free from tension. I believe everything is possible in sql. Thanks

Excellent video on ROLLUP. I've been looking for how to get Totals for a year. Web searches never turned up the ROLLUP clause. You have a crystal clear explanation in this video.
