I am 100% with Dayna on the constant need for sound. I always have my tv on, my laptop, or phone playing something when I'm home. At night I have to have white noise or a fan or something making consistent noise...I am an extreme over-thinker and my brain goes to terrible memories when I am alone in silence. I just can't do it.

I'm 35 and have a personality very similar to Katie's. My intuition about people is also as sharp as Katie's. And I'm so tired of being called a mean person, or miserable, because I'm not bending over with a smile on my face all day. Society just doesn't appreciate women who are unapologetic about being themselves and not trying to fit into a box. P.S. You should be trying KFC in different countries. ESPECIALLY the Caribbean. This is literally something I do everywhere I go.

I love Katie talking about dating, as a 33 year old who got out of a 8 year relationship, I haven't started dating yet but listening to Katie talk about it is definitely helping. Screw VPR, we need a new show that is just the ladies; Katie, Ariana, Lala, Dayna (if she is down) and Charlie (also if she is down, know she isn't back on VPR).

YT is the most healthiest community n it's the only social platform I have ever had. I made a choice to have my mental health first n I stand on that n I also stand on these two women is wat we needed on this platform n I love them both! Due to the worst chain of events snowballing at the end of 2023, I dont have phone service and so I go sit in this McDonalds parking lot to use their wifi and screen record stuff on YT for an hour so I have something to listen to at home where I dont have wifi or cable and I chose this podcast 😀 I love you guys!!!

The body count question is 🚩🚩🚩. Especially if the guy is in his 30s. I haven't kept track of mine, and I have been upfront with current/past potential partners of that fact. There were some guys who responded in gross ways to that answer. Thankfully, my current boyfriend just said, that's fair (or something like that) and we went on with our conversation. If a guy asks that, it shows their respect for you is conditional. If they say they're asking for the purpose of sexual health, that's a lie. There are plenty of other more meaningful questions to ask. Body count isn't indicative of a person's worth or sexual health.

I love that you talked about the man protecting the woman walking on the sidewalk. My husband, "literally showed me" what a real man is. When we first started dating and walked together to lunch on the sidewalk. He held my hand and then (romantically twirled me) to the inside of the sidewalk. I said "What was that about?" He said "I'm protecting you incase a car comes by and you will not be hurt".

I've just started season 4 of Vanderpump Rules (I already watched season 10 but I wanted to see the whole story as a new fan), and Katie you are my absolute favourite out of everyone. It's a bit strange seeing the early seasons and knowing how it all plays out, but as a 27 yr old (about to be 28 in a few weeks) woman who is newly single and absolutely ready to find her power and learn how to enjoy being alone, you inspire me so much. I am "of a certain age," meaning that i have a lot of experience, and therapy. What I learned, via therapists, is a great way to determine if the other person is safe, and possibly a good potential, is to make sure he has spent at least two years not in a relationship. Hanging out with a group of friends is fine, just don't try to date, or be in a relationship😮. That they have put in work at the time. Learning to love yourself, and the other the same. The difficult thing is that both have explored the way they contributed to the downfall of their past relationships and breakup. The wisdom gained will affect your relationship.

I’m w/ Katie about quiet places. Orfield's Chamber in Minnesota was named the quietest place on Earth in 2021. I visited & could’ve stayed longer but they interrupted me… apparently I lasted longer than most. The silence, though, isn’t like being alone with no music or tv on. It’s SILENT. You can hear & feel your insides. Your skin feels different. It’s almost like you’re imploding. Unless you’re able to meditate & enjoy your own thoughts, you’ll likely want out asap.

Katie, it's freaking mouth noises. I blew up at a dear friend in college because she habitually sucked her teeth while running her tough over all her teeth. We all do this at times, but she never stopped. She also might be the sweetest person I've ever known. I made her cry. This was about 46 years ago, and I still feel so guilty. We actually ended up sharing an apartment with another friend.
