This is pretty ideal I been dealing with daf treatment for 5 years on a very large scale (treatment rate ) and I must say I like this

Interesting. I work with similar plant, only that the bottom sludge is pumped with a travelling bridge with an air pump on the top of the basin to discharge into a clarifier.

Questions 1. Will any type of Coagulant and Polymer will work here? 2. Can we use Lamella Plates to lessen floating flocs? 3. What are the retention time for the processes like Coagulation, Flocculation and Sedimentation?

The coagulant and polymer you use depends on the water you are trying to treat. Lamella plates can increase flow capacity by providing laminar flow in the equipment with less turbulence and a greater surface area effect. Effectiveness depends on the design. Retention time depends on reaction time of the chemicals used and the rise/fall rate of floating or settling solids

which is the order of injection of the polymers in the A.P.F (flocculant, coagulant). If I need to add caustic soda or some acid to control the pH, where in the A.P.F should I go?

no, para nada, es algo totalmente diferente, esto es un DAF, sistema de flotación y separación de sólidos en suspensión, aceites y grasas. Los fangos que se generan, luego, hay que deshidratarlos, que pueden ser con centrífuga, tornillo deshidratador o filtro prensa, en función de su nivel de orgánico/inorgánico.

si, pero por lo regular ese trabajo lo hace tu coagulante

cal para bajar el nivel de pH pero seguirias usando soda cautica por ejemplo para subirlo

@tulapia5342 La CAL sube el ph, no lo baja. usarlo en un DAF puede ser contraproducente, tiende a decantar, el floculante va mejor, se mezcla mejor en este caso.

Along with DAF systems more to be used in cleaning ocean waters, to clean human consumed waters,wastes must recreate their drainage waste carrying systems from homes,companies restaurants buildings, not only it generates more work jobs for public trained to do joun this restructuring, ,it streamlines ancient tired not working anymore with efficiency the most important layer of social civil societies around the world, when leaderships say more work for public unemployed sitting doing nothing, yet never gave or started list of works which benefits everybody it's time they do actual public services
