Hi there, If I was to make a solution of gold using this method of dissolving with HCL and H2O2, and then gently evaporate the solution; would I be left with Gold Chloride salt? I am trying to find a way to produce some without Nitric.
You gotta get the hydrochloric acid boiling and then add small amounts of the peroxide. It's not a set it and walk away type of deal but the plus is it's super cheap because it's doesn't require any nitric
Just to Squeeze Inn on your comment I picked up 34% from a livestock supplier Huber I think out of Wisconsin it's pretty cheap for a gallon I haven't used it yet it is dangerous
@@SilverStoll If you wanna do it properly and it to rival AR you would need a concentration of around 30-35% on the peroxide, same for hcl. Anything less than 12% is only a slow mess.
