Wtf did he say...lol So me working out for my hour in the early mornings then sitting around most day is less healthy than a fat person that happens to stand up all day.....😂
Yeah, I chuckled when I heard that. It's competely bogus. In fact, people who stand all day are at higher risk of heart failure than those who sit, walk/sit, or walk all day. This same Dr Thompson has changed his tune since this segment. He gave up running for bicycling after he saw more study results and evidence of marathon-caused heart damage. He said cycling is gentler on the heart as it's at a lower rate.
