Many Yamaha keyboard owners believe, Yamaha keyboards have the best sounding voices. I only have Yamaha and so I can't compare with other brands. But one is for sure: voices in Yamaha keyboards are not that perfect as many believe.

In my opinion it sounds like the SAX sounds in an 9000pro. (Sweet and Breath)

Bogdan. I reckon I have a pretty good ear for things like this, and what I hear is very much a DISTORTION sound. It is 'WHITE NOISE' .. NOT a vibrating reed. If it were, you would get that same sound from playing the B as you do from the C. I must also say that the distortion is sort of 'lost' in the overall sound of the note .. until you isolated it and brought it to the fore. It would annoy me too! Hugh

hello Hugh, thank you for sharing your opinion. Regardless of what's the cause of this "distortion" (here opinions vary), it shouldn't be there. Anyway, since I noticed that, I try to avoid using some saxophone voices, because now I immediately hear the distortion when playing those notes. Greetings, Bogdan

The noise you’re referring to is the vibrato in the reed. There is no such distortion. Is this video just to get you hits? NO DISTORTION!!!

hello Leigh You should have noticed that I have no paid/advertising content and I don't ask for "click & subscribe" either -in short, I don't care about "hits". Thank you for taking time for commenting.
