Dear Miss Jennifer, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the power of these tutorials that you are doing for all of us (and I do notice how many you have been doing since this outbreak). I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
Why do you think we call you “the Queen”? You are THE go-to person for techniques! And new products! And older products! And……how to use all of that. All hail the Queen! I’m basically teasing but the truth is: what would we do without you to ask?
For a lot of people you’re providing help during a difficult time, for me you’ve provided help through three years of a difficult time. Struggling with multiple back surgeries and the ensuing times non-activity has been quite difficult. Thankfully, I was able to find you early on. You have been my introduction to the world of paper crafting and card making and I’m very grateful for that. Even during the times when I wasn’t able to actually do any crafting because of an inability to sit for periods longer than 20 minutes I at least was able to lay in bed and watch your videos and make notes of all the things I wanted to try. So thank you, for not only the help you’re providing people now but the help & hope you’ve provided me for years.
I think these distress glazes are completely underrated, I haven’t seen a whole lot of people using them in their videos but I think they’re just fantastic. The beautiful color and the translucent quality is awesome. I really hope they come out with the rest of the colors.
This is a spectacular video. I absolutely want to spend my birthday money on distress glazes. I have been making lots of cards with die cut nurses and Dr's and huge THANKS. To go to the staff at a hospital nearby.
Thank you for ramping up and providing so many videos right now. I'm still working, but when I am finished and check RU-vid, it's always a cheerful moment to see a new video from you!
Watching your videos is like going to a magical place, a happy, tranquil place. All the cards are just delightful and many of the techniques I'm hoping to incorporate into my own work. Cheers Lisa
I love all the examples. A very good friend gave me a Distress Dabber, Texture Paste (matte, crackle, translucent) and I've been afraid to use them with the Distress embossing glaze she gave me...now I feel more confident. Thank you
I am new to this form of using inks. What is the difference of the distress oxide ink vs any other ink and what is the brush you are using to incorporate the ink? Thanks, these are all amazing videos.
Thank you for the excellent tutorial on ways to use Distress Embossing Glaze. I will give it a try! Thanks so much for all your instruction! From one teacher to another, a big ¡¡¡GRACIAS!!! / MERCI!!
Are you talking about Distress embossing glaze? They are ALL translucent and one of the appeals is that they are in the Distress color palette. Most embossing powders are opaque but there are some translucent ones also.
I'm so glad you showcased the new embossing glazes from Tim Holtz. I saw those on the Ranger website but figured I had so many embossing powders that I didn't need them. However......you know what's coming next....now I think I need them ALL! LOL Those cards are fabulous! Thanks for sharing again.
You are simply INCREDIBLE!! I love these products and the effects you can achieve! Absolutely wonderful techniques and ideas! Am so appreciative of YOU...AND the amount of time you are spending with us! Keep 'em coming, Jennifer, but remember to take care of YOU and yours, first! You are BLESSING!!!
Lovely cards and techniques as always, Jennifer! Just one thing: the card at 17:48 the sentiment isn't really legible. The HI looks like three narrow rectangles instead of letters. When I saw the card in the intro, I was wondering why you put that behind the sentiment strip, only when I watched you make it I realized it is supposed to be HI. That sentiment group might work better on a card with a less busy background. This is just my 2 cents, of course, and I still really like the card.
I was wondering what the difference was between these and just clear embossing ink so thank you for talking about the differences! I can see why the tint of color would definitely change the appearance from just regular Versamark. Thanks for another great video, stay safe!
These are just beautiful! I have been totally convinced I didn’t need anything else in terms of embossing powders...ooh, how wrong I may have been! LOL! These are wondrous, and your cards are gorgeous. I learned so much today - thank you!
Wow, my wallet is not nearly big enough for this tutorial because it's so good I want every single product!! Thank you for these incredible card lessons!! Thank you especially for all the links to everything. That's a lot of work and saves so much time for those wanting the products.
Thank you for these great videos you are doing. I'm bored and can only bake so many goodies so your videos give me some inspiration that won't add weight. I have never seen the glazes so I learned something new. Thanks again for sharing your talents.
Thank you Jennifer, always look forward to your tutorials..I hope you & your family stay safe. We are a bit safer in Australia the outbreak is not as severe thankfully.🙏🏻🥰
Outstanding tutorial. I love the use of all the color. I have the embossing glazes and plan to play with them this week. Thank you for taking the time to create these videos and share your time and talents. It is inspiring. Stay safe. Wishing you and your wonderful family a super week week. Hugs Susan
These cards are amazing! Love these distress embossing powders and the dauber is a must have. The card you did with the stencil has to be my favorite. Love the texture. Thanks for another great video.
