I remember when I first discovered this. I was 13 I think. I’m 17 now. I played this song a lot while I gamed haha. I learned it on guitar then too! I learned this when I was 15. On my Jackson JS22... it’s a cheaper Jackson. It was my first metal guitar. It was 200$ at guitar center... after a year of playing it stock I heavily modified it. EMG 81 60 pickups are in it now, it’s got locking tuners, Floyd rose rail tail bridge. It’s a metal machine now. I play that guitar all the time. 🤘🏼

I know you said you strive to play a cover as it was written, and that is commendable and to be respected, but that said I do miss the little Coleversions you put on tunes like this. I’m watching this in bed and I have the volume really low so I don’t wake up my gf😂 first reaction just watching his picking hand “oh shit, he actually plays”😂. I’ve played guitar for over 20 years. I’m impressed, I don’t see many people who actually take the time to learn the correct techniques. Props man, it was awesome.

The skill, tone, and production value in these videos makes it seem like you're just playing the actual album track over a video instead of actually playing the song yourself. I'd really love to see more of a raw video, because I can't tell the difference between this and the album version for the most part.
I played guitar everyday for two years straight then out it down for 10ish years...I’m back and it’s slowly coming back but I’m getting it way faster this time around. Don’t give up guys. Get the guitar you want and go for it
Wow man, I saw a tone of covers on this song and this one is the best so far. And the ending was very neat, like it sould've been there all the time. Great job. I've been learning it for a long time, but still struggle with rhythm pattern in solo =(

Say what you will about Disturbed, but this album saw some of the mainstream rock guitar work. A surprising amount of it plays around with polyrhythmic feel against the drums, and the solos are very solid. Dan Donnegan needs more recognition for his style.
