This was played today at my gym which usually plays the most generic electronic music. When I realized that not only was it metal, but it was also Disturbed... *breathes in*... boi... Considering it was also leg day which is the hardest this was perfect. I love Disturbed. Unlike most other bands, I like nearly all of their songs. They're just pefect. Even the messages they transmit are great. I just can't even. I love that their songs are not too heavy nor too weak, they're just right for my taste, and the singer genuinely has a good and unique voice and he doesn't scream pointlessly like in other metal songs. I hate that stuff. But this I love.

I whish. the first tank had the friggin engine in the cock pit, so it was like 120+ degrees in there W/ like 4 other dudes. between the engines fumes and heat all you could smell was around 5 hot sweaty men being jossled around in a metal box with a burning hot engine, with barely any sight to the outside world. oh, and I think one guy had to sit right above the engine, so he spent the entire time trying to avoid getting his ass burnt by that monster all the while being shot by crazy germans high on amphetamines.

My favorite song by Disturbed simply for how wicked it sounds. When life gives me lemons I listen to this song to realize they are only temporary and to keep going fighting to protect what I believe in. While I'm not indestructible and could easily be killed this song gives me the impression that I can handle lot's of nasty things before that day comes and demonstrates that inspite of my vulnerabilities and weaknesses they shouldn't prevent me from living my life to the fullest and if I die at least I died doing the thing that I love and cherished the most.
I played this in front of my baby parakeet once, and now every time I play it he chirps along. It's the only song he chirps to which is awesome. Guess this means we've got a tiny Disturbed fan on our hands 😁
Not just this song, but this album is kinda underrated. Excellent guitar work, epic vocals/lyrics, badass album cover, and a kickass title track, this album really does have it all.
