Growing up listening to this song I believed they always meant never again will we let this happen to anyone and now I’ve come to realize they meant never again to just us. I’ve never been more disappointed in my entire life.
A song of incredible importance, especially nowadays when complete dunces who are a small minority but are still a very VOCAL minority claim that there was no such thing as a Holocaust. It's like the entire world is going to shit, extremists are just becoming more extreme. But I suppose it is not so, it's just that they are still allowed to speak and are spreading too fast. The fact that such a small amount of people back then managed to cause this much harm to millions of innocents, we need to stand firm ground to make sure we never allow such horrific, rhetorical ideology such as Nazism to spark again. They conjured up lies from satire to convince people to hate another group of people, and it spread like wildfire. The fact that humanity can be riled up through fearmongering this easily is genuinely sad.

This song has become very topical today with all the Jewish hate being perpetuated over social media. It breaks my heart seeing an entire race being demonized over what is going on in the Middle East. We've seen people attacking others for their beliefs and I fear it's going to get worse, especially now that's it's Election Year. If we don't stop this hatred, then our freedoms will cease to exist.
