David's voice singing the national anthem???? Oh my! That would be absolutely amazing!!!! Please, someone, make this happen and make sure it's on video! I can almost hear it already, his voice soaring in it. I've got goosebumps just imagining it.
While Disturbed's music isn't necessarily my genre, David is amazing. His voice is powerful, the passion and intensity is palpable. No one can come close to his "Sounds of Silence".

I’ve never had goosebumps & cried listening to a song before. I’ve always loved Simon & Garfunkel but after hearing David’s rendition… that IS his song!
and perform at halftime! That would be one of the first half time shows i'd be excited to watch. How energizing would disturbed be for a big football game?????
This was a great interview..absolutely loved it. Ok friends in high places and God's ears....lets get this national anthem ball rolling. David has definitely been pushing for this for years...i love all the respect that he shows different artists from different genres. Genuine and respectful as always. Can we just take a moment, to appreciate how much of a legend Ann Wilson truly is? She has always been top tier top notch...she's so good! I'm really glad these artists are paying homage and showing their respect
I love how Disturbed isn't afraid to try new things and grow as musicians, not just stagnate in fear of the fans disapproval. You can't please everyone all the time, so they stay true to their music.
I couldn't go to the concert due to my poor health, but I got pit tix for my grandson and friend, and they said it was the absolute best. Kills me that I couldn't go. I'm a 70 yo granny and a huge fan of Disturbed.

Such an amazing man and group with boundless talent! I love the National Anthem. I served in our country’s Army, and I am proud to have been able to serve! We need to do better for the country that has offered us so much!

Wow, what a great interview. I’m now a fan of Disturbed ever since he did do the duet with my girl, Ann ❤ and I hope he does get to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl. And I’m sure all the other artists he named would love to sing with him. 😘
David if you ever see this, you are my biggest inspiration. I too have gotten to the point where I tried to take my own life. I served in the US Navy from 1994 till 2010. I have struggled with addiction and mental health issues. It has always been a dream of mine to be a rock star and to help others along the way that face the same demons I do! I do sing and play guitar, not to great, but I’m a beast of a bass player 😊. Playing bass and singing is truly wonderful, but when I watch you my friend I always go back to the lead vocals. Your very presence is overwhelming and your charisma with what ever song you sing, you bring it to life. People tell me that I’m crazy at this point in my life to try to do something that will never happen, but you inspire me to at least try. Thank you! Let me offer my 2 cents. While your voice is great, please make an album with Ann Wilson and all of the others listed. You must include the Sound of Silence and all of your future similar songs. You have a gift, please share it others like myself. A billion views is telling you what a huge number of people need. PLEASE do not let the Billion down. I am seventy and cannot wait forever.
Joni Mitchell had a song: “Twisted” that I used to sing along with, when I was little… cause I was a ‘Disturbed’ little girl…Lol Funny how “Twisted” & “Disturbed” are kind of Synonymous 🤔🧠🙃🙂

Hey David, Where is the Lord in your music. I hear you elude to spiritual themes (usually dark) but I personally have not heard you mention God or Christ. Yet you express a lot of anger and mention some very dark themes. You go as far as to call you're audience your congregation. The Lord says to feed his sheep David, what are you teaching the young exactly?
He helps people, doesn't judge, he gives hope and acceptance among people. He's a moral, kind man. And why should he speak about Christ, he's Jewish, don't be ridiculous. Listen to all of his music, he feels God in the world. As long as you people with respect, what difference does their religion make, unless you are a short sighted bigot. Hope you grow.
