blog: kuriishu.blogsp... FB: tinyurl.com/ol2... hi, I improvised the solo part This is a "slow" version of the song... Maybe I'll do a hard version of it when I have time. enjoy!
There is something special about the piano when it plays something, it doesn't only strike me in a way insomuch that i feel inspired, relaxed, teary eyed, reminiscent, or even just joyful, but it makes a feeling that if a singer were added it would only lesson its sheer power. Im no whimp like most people of this generation, that will regularly post comments that make them seem weak. No I'm a very strong individual who feels only "stronger" when listening to music like this.
I just can say that your talent is such a gift. btw: Listening to this in the piano version shows much better than the usual version what a great sense for extraordinary beautiful melodies Disturbed has got,
No dude, its not the destruction of an old song. I don't see why you see it like that. Its merely the a different way of expressing the music, the feeling during the song. Stricken is a beautiful song no matter what way you look at it. This videos just found a more, slow and sentimental way of showing it. Know what I mean?
I find myself every time I open internet opening this up in a tab and just listening to it... I seriously cannot even describe how amazing I think it is. All I can say is AMAZING job. And 5/5+Subscription for you. Make more disturbed songs because you have a wonderful talent
@@vancestanfield Wow a reply 10 years later. Disturbed is amazing they have always been in my top 3. My faves from them are Ten Thousand Fists, This Moment, The Night, Asylum, The Game, The Curse, Stupify, and I'm Alive. Plus pretty much every song they've ever done lol.
Beautiful. That's why I love rock it has so much emotion and that's why i like classical music too. It sounds so sad yet hopeful. I love that your able to hear that!!! Play On!!!
It's people like you who emphasize that metal "... is the the only genre in existance on the face of this entire planet that frees your soul and makes you more than you ever thought you could be!" (quote by David Draiman)
@Zero6106 No It's not, look at his facebook(sorry for replying to a 2 month old comment but look) "Christian Ray Leovido (Born in 1991, in Madrid, Spain) is a filipino pianist who started playing piano at the age of 6. Years later, he got involved into a church, playing there until today."
@MrJannikxD Covers like this one are cool, aren't they? They really reveal different sides to a song. A whole different personality, per say. I enjoy them because they help me get a feel for how a metal or rock song is truly structured.
@classicalman114 iv gotta agree with Stenfrys, before it was powerful and emparted a feeling of determination (at least it did for me) but this version is beautiful and moving in an entirely different way.
im sure you allready got this comment a thousand times but i just got to tell you how fuckin epic this cover is, i loved the original song but this is even better its sent chills down my spine
@TheImmortalBlood i think that when you listen to this it softens up the lyrics and shows you that the badass that wrote those lyrics has more than just anger on his heart... pretty fuckin deep man. i mean its all the same notes. the only difference is one of them is screamed... people say metal isnt music and doesnt have emotion. metal is PURE emotion. fuckin screaming your face off to blow off all your anger at the things that make you sad. (or just to have a good time!) but yea...
I like your keyboard =D Can you tell me how the keys are? And can it be used for midi also what's the price, name brand and does it have I think it was called "Hammer" touch and sensitivity?
@vampire4343 Really?? Can´t you hear this is Stricken at all?? Stricken is one of my favorite songs by Disturbed, and I can esily hear that this is Stricken, a soft version, yes, but still Stricken. Try sing the lyrics while hearing this cover, then you will see:)
